This is my favorite song sung by him!! I LOVE IT!!! I even loved it even though he messed up he just did it sooo well!!!

Honestly I love this version of Mr. Tambourine Man. My favorite season of American Idol, too. Haha, I wish I can put it on repeat every year & I'll never get tired of it - Joy!

I miss him already too..but I couldn't agree more that he is so humble, respectful, classy, talented, charming, etc. He has the right attitude to go far and I am so happy that he left with a smile on his face - he knows that God has a plan for his life and he's moving on. I am SO excited for the day when his CD comes out!

Jason...you are sorely missed. I have so much love, appreciation and adoration for you. I know you will find your way in this industry and I cannot wait to take that journey with you...

I absolutely love this song! I love everything Jason sings! I will really really miss him after AI is over and I don't think I can ever watch the show again when he's not on it. He just made the show so incredible that it was ALL I wanted to watch the whole week! I will be buying all his CDs and going to all of his concerts! He's my fav singer of all time!

That quote from the LA Times said it all. My son said that I am is now sad that Jason is gone. And grandmothers love Jason, he reminds them of their grandson.

I am SO going to miss him on the show!!! Seriously, AI has never been so much fun as this season because of Jason. I looked forward to seeing him every week! He's is so talented and truly a kind soul. He's amazing and I'm a fan for life! I can't wait for his CD and for him to start touring!!

Couldn't agree more. He's fresh, original and sings from the soul. Power singers are a dime a dozen, and if they don't move you, pfft. Look at Billy Joel, Dylan, Neil Young, Van Morrison. Their voices are arguably less than up to Idol standards but they sell, because they're artists. Hopefully Jason will get the chance to prove himself.

I'm a fan of Bob Dylan, and definitely a huge fan of Jason's. I think Bob Dylan probably forgot his own lyrics several times. I think Jason did an aamzing cover of this, both live and studio.

This is the greatest song of all time. He did a great job, but it can't stand up to Dylan's version.

well i like him a lot and i wanted to hear what the studio version sounded like versus "i shot the tambourine man" version on stage, he did shoot the tambourine man, but not here jason is raw, young talent he will do well as he learns he is charming

they were unfair to him, this version of the song is great, he wasn't the best singer of the bunch, but definitely the best personality, and i think that counts for a lot, i liked him the most, even though i think michael johns was the best one that season, i think jason is my favorite cuz he's so different

He just sings Dylan's version worse than Dylan. I mean, listen to the Byrds' version or Judy Collins' version or Nevada Smith's version (if you can find it).

dylan was about the message, and this guy doesn't have message, i doubt that martin luther king would let this guy sing before he holds his i have a dream speech like dylan did.

I'm sorry sure the kid can sing but when he writes a song as half as amazing as anything Bobby has written instead of just covering good songs then you can compare the two.
