Im steve 49 in uk huge cure fan got all cds dvds most rareities .seen them live great band .and yes awesome drumming as always .the kiss great track .

awesome! makes me understand the mechanics going on. got hooked on disintegration in 89 and been to every dallas cure concert since. i cant say the better drummer but there is that cure video with boris and jason- so neat to see them together. wondering when do we see boris do a drumathon for comparison?.......

Weird that this video has less than 1k views and only comments. One of my favourite songs from The Cure because of the drum pattern. Fanstatic drum lesson. I landed here because I was looking for a drum cover of that specific song.

Some of the best old songs they have aren't so easy to play, because from 82-90 they were made on a drum machine, by "Lol" Tolhurst and Robert Smith, who can play the drums..and who also writes the drums...Jason makes it look effortless...which is why he has the Roland BT-1 Bar Trigger Pad, and I do as well...because some of those samples are a big piece of the sound...I had to strip songs to the drumming track and sample them there and then bring it over to SSD5 and send it to my trigger bar...
