Good shout by Cundy. Like his 3-4-3. - (3) Walker, Stones, Konsa - (4) Trent, Mainoo, Rice, Saka - (3) Foden and Bellingham as 2 no.10s, with Kane as centre forward What I like about this is that Foden and Bellingham have pace and guile and will run beyond Kane who likes to drop into midfield. If this line-up were deployed against Switzerland, could see England going all the way. Come on Gareth, do it!

He has beaten his defender more times than any other England player. One of Saka’s biggest assets is his iq. No point in beating a defender if there’s no one in the box to deliver to. It’s about timing and maturity

England are sleepwalking to elimination. They woke up briefly at the end of the last game to fluke it, then hit the the snooze button again after the second goal. Three at the back, TAA and Saka as wing backs, Foden, Rice and Mainoo, with Palmer and Gordon wide. Need to drop the unfit, out of form and un-droppable Kane!

I get so fed up with these pundits not realising that a big issue for us is playing a 10 alongside Kane who already likes to drop, now we’re playing 2 of them? Where’s the threat behind? Needs to be a 3-4-3 but with Palmer and Gordon up top so Kane can drop and play killer balls to the runners behind and arrive in the box late for those drag backs

Saka is not a left wingback. Going to a back 3 will be disastrous. It’s basically defend first and attack on the break. We’ve gone into this tournament with some great attacking talent and yet they’re not going to be fully utilised. What an effin mess. All because that Pratt Southgate has bought about by taking an unbalanced squad in the fact he hasn’t taken a fit left back.

3-5-2 is the answer. GORDON AND SAKA wingbacks. Konsa, Dunk and Stones Centerbacks. Rice, Bellingham and Mainoo midfield. Kane and Toney up top.

I like Bellingham coming from deep. Forget the no 10. Bellinghams best spell in this tournament was when he was all action in the 🇸🇰 game. For me, bellingham has to sit alongside Rice and run the game.

This formation gives the opposition defenders something to think about, players running in behind, dynamic movement from central midfield, a real goal threat in central areas as well as from out wide as well as being solid defensively. It would solve a lot of problems. Saka isn't in the best of form, meanwhile Palmer is looking very sharp. And then of course there is the trippier no left foot issue, so saka being moved to LWB solves several problems

Everyone complaining about players out of their natural position now saying Saka at LB..yet somehow Foden cannot play LM even though he's played there more often in recent times. Everyone can pick a team, that's not the issue. It's the TACTICS and lack of pressing, energy and intent to attack with intensity. Don't matter how you shuffle the players, that won't suddenly change the MENTALITY set up by Southgate.

Maths profs say Gareth 3 🦁 will win better w a 3-4-3 w Trent as a right wingback & Saka as Left WB. Harry does much better with partners like Palmer & Jude up front. Use Foden as an impact sub.

The whole squad look paralysed going forward because we’re obsessed with Foden. Kane and Bellingham didn’t pass to him once in the last game and he didn’t pass to either of them. Southgate can’t win with you lot. If he keeps the same formation and we lose, you blame him. If he switches up formation and we lose, you blame him. Last week these clowns were chanting "FODEN BELLINGHAM RICE" as the answer to England's prayers, now it's "BACK THREE"? Drop Kane, he's not performing. Watkins or Toney in, either will stretch the defence. Drop Foden and Saka, they're not performing, start Palmer and Gordon. That's it, done.
