A friend of mine invested in a crypto scam and kept using the phrase "we're taking it to the moon". I tried to warn him that it was a scam and he wouldn't listen. He tried to use my comic and console trading investments as a comparison, calling the comics coins. I handed him one and said "here you go, now show me a coin". The difference between trading/investing in crypto and trading/investing in comics is I can physically hold the investment in my hand. I bought a 1976 edition of Spider-Man for 50p from a charity shop, it sold for £133, his coin cost him 2k and is currently worth £1.50. He showed up on my doorstep absolutely distraught and begged for help, he had called me all the names under the sun when I warned him, now he was talking like I was some sort of saint who could save him. I told him to learn from his mistakes and stop investing in cyber crap. Whenever someone says they are taking their investments to the moon, it's not real. What is real, is I can take my investments to the toilet, and read them while I'm taking a sh!t.
Sahil is not a Canadian name that's an Indian name, scamming didn't start in Canada and the ones who are doing it are mainly Indians and not from the countries they believe they live in and if that 🗑does live in Canada it WILL be deported as Canada doesn't want scammers
@@xxdesertstorm Something may be lost in translation, so just to explain, there is a trope/meme of claiming that one's girlfriend lives in Canada which is taken to mean that they are pretending to have a girlfriend while they don't actually have one. I was using it in this context to refer to this "Sahil" likely not even existing, and simply being used as a scapegoat by all these trash celebrities.
it's just classic brand scamming. theyd do the same with wines, shoes, etc but putting your name on a coin takes 0 effort. I imagine a lot of times these celebrities are approached by crypto scammers to use their name like this sahil guy
I felt the same way about people getting scammed by Logan Paul with cryptozoo yet they were presented as sympathetic characters on that exposé he dropped. I just hate the posturing like it’s about the principal when it’s really about content, I don’t feel bad for fools.
Why don't people like this get held accountable? I mean I get that they're rich celebrities but godamn the audacity of every single one of them pulling the same damn scam blows my mind.
Because calling them celebrity is a stretch. Dude hasn't been relevant since late middle school. Anyone still listening to him in regards to anything is just soft in the head.
Because no one cares. The only people getting scammed here are plain ignorants. Lecheers trying to get free money without any effort, the same kind of people that would do the exact same thing Derulo is doing given the opportunity. One day though, maybe authorities will seek to make an example out of one of these "celebrities" (*cough* P. Diddy *cough) if they feel like it. Until that day comes, these people will continue their unethical behavior. People is actually willingly giving their money away here (facepalm), they might as well get scammed and learn the lesson the hard way
@@theultimatereductionist7592 yet they and India still scam, the worst is India who's government is as corrupt as the companies who help them scam cough cough Google and its CEO
This is the entire reason I've took so long to ever consider a George Foreman grill and at this point it seems to be the singular exception that proves the rule
@@Mordecrox ngl never knew George foreman did literally anything before grills. I didn’t even know who he was until I was told a few years ago by my parents, I figured it was just some guy the company was named after whose importance was greatly exaggerated from awhile ago like Kernel Sanders
Yeah what @jusforyoutoob said basically, they up their living standards to an unreasonable and unsustainable amount. Either because they can't into being responsible and smart with resources and/or because the people who actually make the big money (producers, managers, media publishing corpo people) manipulate them into it. They can then milk the celebrity cash cow even more in return, because it now has to completely exhaust itself to keep up it's living standard. Oldest trick in the book. The solution would be to live humbly, maybe get a fun vehicle and invest your money responsibly (buy some property etc.) but you'd have to have a brain and a soul to be able to do that in the first place.
@@jusforyoutoob finally someone with sense bro these people are not rich their lifestyle is very expensive more than the money they make.. equal they are one mistake away from bankruptcy
He had to be to get this far in the business, no one who is smart would do what they do to get where they are. You can only pull strings on a hollow wooden puppet
and when they got scammed, they report to coffeezilla. i feel like if they trust coffeezilla about this kind of stuff, they shouldn't invested in cryptos at all
Bro, who else is stoked on these fairly regular shorter void videos? This is awesome Also, how does this exact thing keep happening, and moreover keep working? This is ridiculous.
I hate when they start talking about "the community". Bro your "community" is just a bunch of overly positive randoms wanting to make money off each other, also Discord is free
What does it even mean in these cases? The coin will be worth a lot? I thought it was cryptoCURRENCY. Shouldn't the goal to be that their coin be accepted as currency?? They never have any plan besides the coin having "value" which is code for "I get to sell it for a profit"
JASON DERUUULO I've got to assume that if you download the blockchain blocks for this coin, and play them in Winamp as PCM WAV format, you'll inevitably hear his name yelled out several times in the audio stream.
Shocker! A man that publicly proposed to his girlfriend, did a music video and gained clout with it, then backtracked behind closed doors has no morals? Color me shocked!
to quote Hbomber guy "when somebody does something bad to you and pretends like it happened as if by magic, you know they're trying to deceive you", paraphrasing. very common manipulation tactic to talk about their actions in the passive voice
Civil rights activists have been pointing out the use of passive voice for generations. “A deadly shooting in an incident involving police.” sounds benign, even when it means, “The police falsified evidence to obtain a ‘no-knock’ warrant for the apartment of an innocent woman, then barged into Breonna Taylor’s apartment while she slept and killed her.”
They leave it in the podcast or whatever media because they HAVE TO SAY EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING in order for it to happen. Committing crimes in plain sight. It is a part of the order. The manipulation from them never stops. Thank you for calling them out!
It's depressing that the biggest joke about Jason Derulo used to be that he always sang his name in the song, and now he's more known for being a scammer.
its often people who dont really understand what they getting themselves into. With this they probably just liked his shitty music from a few years back and heard about crypto from the news on tv. Because its promoted by a celeb, they just buy into it
@@MoralesCorner I've seen very intelligent people being scammed. Seems more intelligent people are not necessarily better at seeing why its a scam, they are also better at coming up with reasons why a scam might not be a scam. Some people just want to be fooled and intelligence seems to also help getting fooled🤣
I vote that we classify the types of people that get scammed like this as a "protected class" like children, the mentally/physically disabled and the elderly. This has to stop. These are vulnerable people. Its fun to make jokes at their expense. They deserve a lot of that mockery. They're ultimately responsible for their choices. However, that doesn't mean the people taking advantage of them shouldn't face consequences. Im sure im preaching to the choir at this point lol
I’m more upset with how unimaginably awful his recent music has been. His old stuff wasn’t exactly Michael Jackson but his new stuff makes wiggle look like Billie Jean. He just takes a well known classic song, makes the lyrics worse and blatantly rips it off in the most mediocre way humanly possible. Then he steals a viral video and posts it on RU-vid shorts with the song playing over it in desperate hope of getting a hit. I’ve never seen such a creatively bankrupt human being in my life.
Experiment proposal, circa 2008 (probably): 1. Use social media to identify low-talent narcissists 2. Feed them nothing but hype 3. Put them everywhere. I mean everywhere. People who aren't on social media and curate their own libraries should still know about them. 4. See what happens
@@KaysWorld4 Thats the thing: Jason Derulo is most definitely not broke. Hist last album still sold fairly well even if it doesn't begin to compete with the start of his career. Not to mention that he still has other shit running in the background It's just greed that drives this guy
I wish coffee had gone more in depth about how egregious Derulo's content theft really is. It's not just him eating in the corner or adding meaningless commentary like XQC or sniperwolf. They're known as some of the biggest content thieves, but they at least actually react to the content they're stealing. Derulo's people just take other people's videos, overlay the same precorded reactions, and repost on his channel. He literally does nothing.
Most of these scammers are living a lie, they drive around in expensive cars and wears expensive clothes when it turns out most are hire purchases. One scammer was even caught out wearing a rented suit. Dan Lok houses and cars were all rentals after saying he bought them, the classic fake it until you make it attitude
@@lexdavies3656Miami is full of those people, the fittingly named “30k a year millionaires”. That’s one of the reasons why I’m glad I don’t live there anymore
2:43 Him thinking that the phrase is ’in it for the ‘long hall’, when it’s ’in it for the long haul’ should be enough for people to go - ‘Ohhh okay I get it… he’s dumb… neeeever mind!!’ lol 😄🤦🏻♂️ ‘Totally in it for the long hall guys… I’m gonna run all the way to the end of this crazy long ass hall with this and never give up. No short to medium length halls for THIS guy 💪’
😂😂 This comment made my day. Unfortunately the people who would invest in this scam very likely do not see anything wrong with Jason Derulo telling them that he is totally in it for the long hall, never a medium sized or even short one.
@@peisenxu952 Or ‘For all intensive purposes’ or ‘Escape goat’ haha 😄 I’d love to give him that benefit of the doubt, but the realist in me just thinks he’s only ever heard that idiom spoken, and has never once read it on paper or anything and so that’s just what it’s been in his head his whole life, and this is likely the first opportunity he’s ever had to write it in a way that he thinks makes him look smart, but little does he know… …theres no end to that. It was just English for ‘He dudn’t no jack shit’ 😄🤦🏻♂️
What is your job? Your occupation? Does it involved federal government work? Or working in some facility for a corporation on aviation or defense? Just curious (:
My video partner on my channel worked for him as crew. He never spoke to anyone on set, and then his team never paid for the work. I’ve been waiting for the dirt to start coming out.
I have a feeling Sahil is a 22yr old kid in LA named Matthew that lives with his parents who are well connected in Hollywood is the reason he can keep doing this shit and getting away with it. This is just a random ADHD thought. Thanks for letting me rant.
Thanks. That’s really funny. But no - he’s an Indian guy hiding in Dubai. Once the ‘wrong’ person gets scammed, Dubai PD will swoop in and he’ll be sharing a cell with Hushpuppi (Google it if you don’t know the story).
Scamming comes from the need then becomes greed....if you're parents are loaded and you live in a nice home..the need isnt their ....scammers all around are USUALLY foreigners
He's not "getting away" with anything. They are hiring him on purpose to be the fall guy. He pumps and dumps, then shares the money with the celebrity he "scammed."
Don’t confused prominent voices with prominent numbers. There’s plenty of good folk out there caring for the sick and feeding the hungry. They just aren’t on twitter. Take heart 🧡
Great stuff from Coffee as per usual. Can I ask a stupid question? If people have invested in this coin already and the value is up right now (4:10), can they not sell the coin now and get their money back before the 'Dump' and value floors? Or are they locked in somehow?
Not no crypto expert, super casual lol. But that being said, I would assume yes. The dump is what causes the value to fall, so if you beat them you should be good. But again, super casual, don't take my advice lol.
Coffee please make a vídeo on the infamous Sahil. I want to help on getting the Intel. I was involved during his AVAX phase which was the beginning of the celeb phase on this bull run, which started with Dwight Howard
Celebrity millionaires like Jason feel the need to make more money (even through scamming) because they lead an extravagant lifestyle. While a few million dollars is enough for the average person to retire comfortably on, it's a not enough for Jason to live on. So they go to great lengths to keep their millions coming in.
It's disgusting that RU-vid yeets creators if they have the wrong politics, yet allow people to STEAL content by adding a faceover or a couple of dumb "reaction" comments
His best music always relied on samples. If there’s a good part of a song, you can basically determine it’s a sample just from that. He’s been stealing for a while
he once tried to make an animated musical movie with the shittiest concept i have ever heard of, i auditioned for it and 8 years later it still hasnt come out so i guess the industry agreed
How did I just now realize this was another coffeezilla channel? The first time I saw a recommended video from it I thought it was just a fan of coffeezilla making secondary shorter form content, so I ignored it. Anyways, now I’m subscribed. Huge coffeezilla fan and happy to see he has a shorts channel too.
