Hey Tim, I know I'm real late to the party (I managed to stumble on this video nearly 2 year after you uploaded it!) but I just wanted to say this is a great tutorial. I'm not much of a guitar player, but with the quarantine lately I've been trying to play a bit more since I have more time. I wanted to say I really appreciate you walking through the different inflections, phrases, and passing notes Jason uses to move between the chords. It helps newbies like me feel like I know what I'm doing, and it sounds so much better than just playing the basic chords. I especially love the parts where you break down the parts of the chord that we should be emphasizing, it helps me understand the "point" of different chord voicings in a song and how they help move you from one chord to the next. I'm subscribed to your channel now and I look forward to checking out more videos in the future!

So I’ve spent the last few nights learning this song.. I’m just a beginner/intermediate player, so I was dumbing it down a bit… just making sure I got the little fill/melody in there correctly in the verse… I guess that’s the mark of a fantastic song, you can strip it down and it’s still really cool.. lol. But now, having seen this incredibly accurate tutorial, I’m gonna go back and re-learn it properly! Thank you so much for this video!

I’m probably missing something, but at the beginning did you strike the 3rd fret c note again before the pinky hammer on on the 5th string? Sounds like there’s 6 notes but I’m only catching you call out five plucks. Probably missing something obvious!
