I'm just BEYOND thankful I could see him in my hometown of Marquette, MI (in the UP where NO ONE really knows we exist) at the NMU events enter. He opened with a tune from the first albumn that turned me onto him, his 'Live at Java Joes.' By himself, then joined by the entire gang, his performance was beyond what I imagined, and I grew to know him more as the compassionate non-sell out world and people loving musical genius he is. And that's till not enough wordplay or adjectives to describe em.
you know what Toca has an incredible voice :O I always assumed it was just a deep backing vocal and its amazing at that but he sings so high too - he's amazing
i love his songs, he pours his soul in whatever he sings. and we feel it. may it be emotional, humorous, or simply a cute song. he is an inspiration to everyone. and most people can relate to his songs. I am a proud fan of Jason and will always be. No matter what he goes through, I will still be there to support his music because his music inspires me. His friendship with Toca is amazing. they're both great musicians. and they go along well. am stoked to see them on Oct30
im so sad that this song didn't make it to the upcoming album! :( i really love this song, and other great songs by the man like They Shaped My Life,You Fuckin' did it,Sail away,I never knew you,Up,and my personal favourite,What would love do now. these are sooo freakin' good songs that didn't make it!
You are my 911, you rescued me, your ray of sunshine is my remedy. Now I won't give up, as you shape my life I knew that life is wonderful! Even If I sail away 93 million miles far from home, I'll do anything to live high and enjoy 1000 things. The world as I see it now exploded into love, One love, Real Love. You and I both loved and lucky co'z God rests in reasons, God moves as what would love do. Don't look back now even there's beauty in ugly there will always be a happy ending.
i LOVE the "new him"!!! i LOVE the "old him" too!!! i also Love this song and hopes he keeps playing it this way; with minimal accompaniment. it doesn't need a band behind it at all. the band detracts from the beauty of the song. #jmho.
@cellovesteukie yes! it made so much sense in this surrounding! however, two days ago when they played the song in Berlin at a regular venue and Toca started it, people misinterpreted it for an invitation to start clapping! lol
@shakeystearoom This is sort of a storage room, no professional stage. We have to work with what we got in terms of lighting. Plus, both of them moved, so they left and entered the "spotlight" now and then :)
@mvpadea1 F-ing impressive, thoughtfully creative ya should send it to him ;) "Don't look back" is by Gregory Page, Jason just does covers of it. I'm sorry >.<
