there's no denying Jason's music is transcendent, the way he connects to his music is truly unique.. I love listening to him because you feel what he's saying means a lot him and the melodies are addictive, Mraz, you inspire me!.. you too, Toca :)
His voice is still amazing, in whistler(august 5th) he sang The remedy and You and I Both, songs that he made about 10 years ago and so great as the first time. It's normal for a singer's voice undergoes changes over time, happened just after Live on earth. But now, in 2011 noticed that he is recovering that amazing voice. He is a musical genius
Jason, you have the most remarkable voice of at least the last 30 years. Pitch perfect, clear, so wonderful to listen to. The lyrics and music compliment you to perfection. Well done, young man! Hope to see you perform live one day.
Lyrics: In a difficult breath She reached for the phone She knew she needed friends And didn't wanna be left alone It wasn't like her To have her feelings hurt But everybody hits a wall Everybody needs a call He was living on sidewalk Just living, no business at all There was something to this man Who had seen it all He wasn't looking for a handout He didn't want my money neither Just tired of speaking to the wall Said everybody needs to talk Whoa oh oh I'm coming to your rescue Coming to your rescue Like a fireman, I'll be your 911 Whenever you need to escape somehow Rescue, I'm coming to your rescue No I'll never let you down Never let you down No I'll never let you ever fall down No oh oh oh oh Woah oh oh Born in 2002 Too young for the work he do Too young to have that kind of voice That people listen to Not made for the factory Not made to be a soldier neither It's not what he deserves Everybody should be heard.... Rescue, I'm coming to your rescue Like a fireman, I'll be your 911 Whenever you need to escape somehow Rescue, I'm coming to your rescue No I'll never let you down Never let you down No I'll never let you ever fall down No oh oh oh oh No oh oh No oh oh oh oh Life was made for love As one and one is two People need to be seen I see you When you're down on your luck You know what I will do Ah ah, ah ah ah Ah ah, ah ah ah Ah ah, I see you, I know you I hear you, I love you Here I come, here I come Here I come, here I come I'm coming to your rescue I'm coming to your rescue Like a fireman, I'll be your 911 Whenever you need to escape somehow Rescue, I'm coming to your rescue No I'll never let you down Never let you down No I'll never let you ever fall down No oh oh oh oh
Frigg. Ive been having such a hard time lately and I thought I was doing a good job of being "strong" I get half way through this song and i'm bawling my eyes out.
Sending this to all my extrovert friends who are struggling being stuck inside because of covid19. I'm coming to your rescue through phone, hangouts, zoom, skype, ...
This is just magical ! I'm of an age where Jason is relatively new to me, and I'd like to say I'm rating him with Bob Dylan, Niel Young, and Cat Stevens. High praise for a wonderful performer
Agreed!! In the early 2000's I used to say Kenny Loggins, James Taylor, Paul Simon - simply because I was familiar with a lot of their music. Now as the years roll on and I listen to and acquire more albums, in Jason's newer stuff and little-known internet gems, I also hear those artists you've mentioned... may I add Jim Croce, Neil Diamond, and... damn, lost the third one I had in mind. ...to be continued...
I'm s'ck of being the 3rd parent to my older siblings who don't clean up after themselves. I'm fed up with being torn between broken groups of friends. I'm t'red of being dependable. I'm t'red of helping others. I'm t'red of being strong. I'm t'red of loving people around me. I'm just simply t'red
I was introduced to a new concept today that I did not know that I did not know.................time change! I think time change is one of the things my heart loves about music :-) x0x
@TheWordplay90 He was actually seeing a doctor for laryngitis just before the Live on Earth show was filmed, so he wasn't quite at his optimum, but I was at the show and it was amazing :)
@thankyouthorn i totally agree! i also saw him in 2008 and i think he was in great shape then and i miss that a little bit. but as a huge fan i have to say that he's still great of course :).
Either Im cryin cuz itz such a great frickin song or Im balling my heart out cuz our JASON JUST KICKS ASS! My friend will walk in, & look at me & say in disgust or frustration (lol) "What r u cryin about NOW??)" As I say to you, just cry. Screw em if they cant take a joke. Screw em Anyway!"
@mrazbaby746 ya it's pretty simple...put your capo on 6 or 7 (he plays it in different keys at times) and then it is basically C, G, Am, Em, F, C, F, G.....and occasionally he stops on Am after the last G (the part that goes "everybody needs a CALL"
I think you are not getting what I said, I meant that you are talking like Toca had joined Jason along his career and after he joined him he started getting better, but he's been with Jason since his career started, so the next album is going to be like it is because of Jason not about an influence(don't get me wrong I love Toca also)
@0abeautifulmess0 i think it's just that this song is a little low in tone, and well, he is not getting any younguer.. but i can't wait to see what else he's got for us, i wanna see how he will be in a few years.. he is my favorite artist ever.
I just don't get why the upper comment is one with Justin Bieber in it. He has nothing to do with this at all! Jason deserve 2 top comment all about him and not about bieber, he is a cool dude. But Jason need the 2 top comments! Jason is the most amazing musician i know.
