nearly 10 years ago jason rennie jumped a motorcycle further than anyone else in the world . 253ft . but ryan capes from america has just recently broken jason s record with a jump of 316ft on september 26th 2009 . ... well done to ryan capes on his success full jump .......

the 16 of you that put thumbs down have no clue how hard it is to jump a motorcycle even 50 feet but to do it 250 feet in the rain! WOW that is a feet beyond belief and it takes alot of courage to face that monster and win! good on you Jason Rennie! Well done!

He wasn’t ranked top ten in British motocross but was always good at jumps as I remember,Top lad with neil prince,we cut our teeth in the quarries of Wrexham doing huge jumps. They were some of my best memories right there. Glad Jas got all these records Top lad

Kids today may jump farther, but let’s see them try and land on a 8 to 10 foot wide wood landing ramp!!!! Today they land on a huge pile of dirt fifty feet wide and hundred feet tall.. just saying😮😮😮

If I am not wrong, I think Jason still holds the record for the longest jump inside an arena. Millennium stadium Cardiff, Future West super cross. The roof was closed. Making it an indoor event

This was ace never saw this old footage reminded me of my ‘99 YZ 250 thing was fast also had a ‘99 CR 250 that was awesome, I regret selling those bikes well every bike I’ve ever had ! I’d have a right collection now 😩

there are quite a few individuals who enjoy a good jump. Colby RAHA,amd this is a quick one that you can look up. But please do not misunder stand what i am saying . it is less uncommon now days.

It wasn’t not a 500cc Yamaha that was jumped before him. It was a Honda CR500R ridden by Doug Dangers.

@@fendermon really? The Harley Davidson xr750 was designed for flat track and tt competition. TT tracks have jumps. Evel made a lot of jumps on a Harley Davidson xr750.

@@skabucks1 Because the Harley XR750 is possible thee worst motorcycle to jump! Doing so takes a level of insanity and skill few will never know... that's why! And incase you don't know .. American riders and American tuners made racing what it is today. There are great riders from all over the world but without the long list of great riders from the USA, motorcycle racing would not be what/where it is today.
