Giving temple jax some sort of Ink/ Shadow effects on his attacks and abilities just like in the splash art is such a missed opportunity imo

Old Temple Jax looks 100% better both in splash and in-game form.

I think it's great, it's true that they could have added a pose at the end of the 975rp skin recall, but in and of themselves they are fine. The only thing that surprises me is that by making it thinner it gives the impression that it is smaller than before when in reality it is larger.

I don't know but i like the old Pax Jax more. The Hat was like in a Triangle Shape if you know what i mean and he looked more Buff. Like more jacked. Now he looks like a Skinny Ninja with a Straw Plate on his Hat. And actually same for Tempel Jax

Temple Jax’s original splash and color palette just hits better

The legendary skin now is a regular skin for me, with just a different voice line and, yes, animation, but with that new model the other skins are way better.

Jax is one of 2 champs that started the league addiction. Slowly stopped playing him since there were more fun and better looking champions but riot did really well :) waiting for lee

They completely removed the originality of the old skins. They could have at least put a spin on the skins, not just completely strip them of their identities...

They should have "Traditional Jax" skin. As now the original skin is very different from the new one and is pretty much an icon in the league community.

i have 2 small complaints, he is leaning on his staff but it is going through his arm and on his 3rd hit from his ult he does a poke with the back of the staff which would do less damage since the top part is the empowered/magical part so that doesnt make sense to me. other then this i love it so much.

honestly prefer the old empyrean jax even though the changes are subtle. The original had quite a bit of dark colors, which really contasted and made the lighter/brighter/more neon colors really pop out more. The new skin is all light colors, so the neon doesnt pop out nearly as much. Also the new neck collar thingy is too clean and crisp, the old one is kinda hazy which gives it a nice buzzing neon effect that is lost in the new one. idk it is seemingly small, but it makes a big difference overall, atleast to me.

They missed the opportunity of vandal jax using a street lamp post, but overall what a great ASU

I wish the black on the pax jax skin was darker in the updateded version it looks purple also wish his hat was bigger :(

Jax's lantern glowing with ember particle effects when you activate W on his base skin and a few other skins that actually keep the lantern is 10/10, which is why the skins that don't really keep thay effect look worse in comparison (Nemesis changes it to electricity, which is cool too).

PAX and Angler splash arts were swapped in this. PAX was showed before angler, and Angler shown before PAX

I think Temple Jax needs more work on the cape and the Hat. Ideally it should be bigger and more detailed.

Vandal jax looks very different for the worst in my opinion, the third hit feels a bit weeker than other ones and the staff looks a bit too much like a weapon too. For animations, visual and sound effects the rework is fantastic though

Such a great update - especially his voice lines and the Mighty Jax and Vandal Jax skins in particular. However I agree wit hmany here - the Temple Jax skin just doesn't cut it. The old one made him look like a real weapons grandmaster and the new one makes him look like a door guard. It has always been my favourite skin (as a Jax main) because the splash art was badass and his in-game skin suited Jax so well. The new one just feels off. I like that they tried to bring some of the splash style over, but of all his skins this is the one they should have just purely put the old one on the new model as it was so good.

I love that they did a simple visual update. That's all jax really needed and he's back in business, as shiny as never before! I hoped they would to the same to aatrox back then, goddamn.

Honestly i just love default jaxs new appearence so much. All the skins are fine. I like how much different Vandal Jax is, but Temple Jax i think could have been handled a bit better

Is it just me or do his auto attacks seem less impactful. It's smoother but lacks impact that the previous auto attack had.

I wish Vandal Jax had some sort of call back to his blue color. Like the hair on the helmet or his shirt instead of it being purple. Like the hair be blue and the shirt be red. It would be a great homage to the old skin instead of just feeling like random colors.

i imagine the ones without a new splashart are not finished yet (?) cant wait to see those too

what a fantastic visual rework. the fact that they kept pretty close to the Runterra design is pretty sweet. I cant say im a big fan of a lot of the skins though. it seems a lot of these skins have either contextualized him as a gladiator, Martial artist, or a robot. Mighty, Vandal, and mecha kingsdoms to me are the best skins as they do something unique and cool with his design as they contextualize him as something more than just a gladiator. Mighty is a Hocky player which IMO is probably the bets thing you could do with a Jax Skin. Vandal allows Jax to look like a biker gang, which fits really well with his story sense he is trying to assemble mighty warriors to fight the void. and Mecha Kingdoms may be a robot, but it is the best robot of the bunch.

I'm gonna miss ol Spikey ball on nemesis. they shoul' ve just kept the spike ball, carboard tube and fishing pole. I felt like those were iconic enough to stay.

I feel like I’d be waiting until my 60’s for a visual update on rumble and his skins. Hell I’d be happy with just an update on his base model and only that

Actaully, they've done some color changes to MK Jax, so now it looks more vivid - it's not much, but IMO it does look better (you can see some changes on his helmet, shoulder guards and "skirt" part).

Imagine buying mecha Jax and its now the least interesting skin of him lmao anyway temple Jax looks clean asf

Funny how all the old skins, even when they look fine, got redesigned into something unrecognizable and sometimes worse, while all the new skins, even the absolute dogshit ones like Conqueror Jax that nobody likes, stay exactly the same.

He's too expressive. They also completely ruined some of the skins, especially Nemesis Edit: they completely destroyed his original skin. Where's his hoodie??
