Jay Black with lead vocals on the 1966 movie about fun on the slopes. Other artists in the movie included "The Astonauts, The Beau Brummels, and Dick and Dee Dee. "Two Of A Kind" was featured at the end of the movie.
Jay Black is so cute and smiley in this video! I love it! His voice is heart melting and brings butterflies when listening to it! He’s got a voice of an angel! Too bad this song wasn’t released! I would’ve loved to listen to this song all the time. Thanks for posting this! RIP sweet Jay Black! 🥺❤️
When people of different generations don't get other people's adolescence or nostalgia, I tell them they're not supposed to. It's one of those things where "you had to be there".
The funny part is its not just the novelty of the movie and the fact they are in it, but its genuinely a great song too - that movie "That Thing You Do" was emulating scenes like this.
He looks so cute and adorable and joyful when he smiles, that it makes me happy! 🤭🥰 However I have seen him smiling in a few other songs too tho. Such as Living Above Your Head, Come A Little Bit Closer (the video where he says “just like a chicken I ran” instead of “and through the window I ran”), Only In America, And Let’s Lock The Door and Throw Away the key!
GREAT Jay and The Americans video from this movie! Was this song ever released as a single or was it just used as one of the songs from this movie? It had great vocals and a nice beat. And Suzie Kaye looked a bit like the late Annette Funicello. I just wonder if any of these cast members ever had much success in Hollywood since I do not recognize any of these actors and actresses in this VERY obscure movie. (I was 13 in 1966.)
Thanks for the video of this mostly unknown film that must have flopped badly at the box office. Was the Les Brown Jr. the son of the famous band leader? And cutie pie Vicky Albright played "Charlotte" in 'The Trouble With Angels' also in that year in 1966. She was on several television shows in the 1960's but I think these two movies may have been her only ones. She was VERY attractive and seemed talented enough but never seemed to really make it in Hollywood and that is too bad.
Yeah, I saw her in an episode of My Three Sons and also a hairspray commercial. Quite surprising she only tried it for 4 years during which she was successful on 11 shows and movies. She got married in 1965 so that's probably why
@@SkyBlue-qn8me Thanks for your reply! Marriage might have ended Vicki's acting career but I thought she was a cutie pie and I would have LOVED to see her in more tv shows and movies. And Suzie Kaye in this movie might have been related to Linda Kaye on "Petticoat Junction."
