A classy and thoughtful intro by Shelly Berman and Mike Douglas. Mike Douglas was a terrific crooner in his own right. Jay Black was a talent unto himself.

Talk about a group with a damn great lead singer, all members were very talented in their own right. The ending to walking in the rain, what a voice. What a classic piece of tv history and thanks so much for posting.

Here it is March 20, 2024 and I woke up at 5 AM and I don’t know why this song came into my head. From the moment I heard it I loved it and me being Latino and being raised in Northwestern Ohio at that time this song definitely touch something inside of me. Thank you for posting it. I’ll be listening to this song until my last day on earth.

It's sad to see him in his prime knowing this great talent has left us. I grew up in the same neighborhood as Jay, and we loved his music and were proud of him, and many of us tried to emulate his long and hanging note in Cara Mia to no avail. He was one of a kind.
