We shouldve seen: Jay vs zoom Wally vs savitar Barry vs thawne Bart and Nora vs Godspeed Then at the end Thawne somehow does a umo reverse card on cobalt and we see everything end with the 2 of them

Jay should’ve taken Zoom’s speed (like the Earth-90 Flash); and after some big climactic battle between Barry and Thawne, Eddie should’ve used the Negative Speed Force to kill Thawne again, saving the universe like at the end of season 1, but getting to live as a hero and proving that the Negative Speed Force can coexist with the Positive. I mean come on Eric. This isn’t as hard as you make it seem.
That’s the problem with being so ambitious with a TV series. MCU has the time, funding and resources to make great collaborations; CW is literally bound by “We have these actors and this budget for special effects (and these writers)”. I’m sure they did their best, it’s just… a shame, that this is where the series ends.
you're right we should've of had an all speedster fight man.... Barry vs Eddie, Nora vs Thawne, Wally vs Savitar, Jay vs Zoom, and Bart vs Godspeed but I guess we already had Wally the episodes before and I also guess that the writers didn't want to bring back Jordan Fisher to reprise his role man but this finale was still good overall tho
What i think is a good last episode is that cobalt blue has a plan for the villains Savitar can go to infantino street and do the exact same thing as he did, which is kill iris in front of barry but instead of killing iris, barry was fast enough to stop savitar. For zoom, the same thing can happen that he wants to use the magnetar, and wipe out the entire multiverse, killing all the speedster, like season 2, barry races him, but this time barry caught up with him and knock out zoom. Godspeed can try and kill the rest if team flash and the other team flash people with power try and stop him but they cant. Reverse flash can betray cobalt blue and become the avatar, collecting the speed from the rest of the villains, and barry and him can actually do a proper fight or can just make flash 1 v 4 the villians What barry can do at the end, is he destroy the negative speed force once and for all. This will show how much Barry has improved and how much faster he has become
Agreed because all the fans including me have better ideas for the show and writing like If I wrote S9 I would keep the green arrow episode along with the episode where Barry goes back to the year 2000 and also for last few episodes the evil speedsters would have already been there early on and since their are all villains specially Savitar would never work with any of them because since he is still Barry just evil back in s3 he said that he was the biggest foe bigger than thawne or zoom second because since he is still Barry thawne killed his mother , zoom used him and killed his dad, and don't even get me started on "Godspeed" Savitar is the true God of Speed August Heart is a fucking joke but I would have love an episode where Savitar and Godspeed fight where Savitar beats the shit out of him takes him for a "Run" breaks his leg how he did wally breaks his back and spine and staps him like he did and as the he slowly drops him to the ground Barry inside the suit will sneak out of the suit and appear in front of August and snap his neck the throws him out of a window with Bart and Nora run towards there and sees August thrown out the window as Savitar standing over the body and says "Your not a God" And Nora says "oh shrap" as Savitar still in human form slowly turning towards Bart and Nora as Bart is in shock
This series finale is a complete joke. The greatest villains of the show were defeated in seconds. And they weren’t even defeated by the Flash. Barry needed seasons to defeat them. In several seasons, he fought Thawne in multiple episodes and Allegra kills him with only one shot? This can’t be real. They just massacred my boy! This is a complete nightmare for someone who started watching the show 9 years ago. Thank you for ruining this show, Eric.
Considering Allegra only knocked him out, she didn’t kill him. He’s still human and prone to giving elaborate speeches, so it makes sense Allegra could beat him easily, especially given her powers are literally OP AF when she’s angry
I know everyone's mostly upset with how the finale villain's were handled, and with good reason, I am too. Though this whole scene from 1:27-4:31 is just...holy SHIT, I love the acting here. ESPECIALLY Grant's. Just this small moment of trying to think of a plan, with everyone stacked on the easier solution, but Barry so DESPERATE to make sure things end well for his family/friends AND Eddie. It seems like no matter how off an later episode or a later season was overall, the cast would really try their best with what they had and I'll remember that the most out of this show.
To be fair, the violence and death isn't on Barry's side. It's the enemy that's forcing that... it doesn't have to be that way... The problem is that the good guys want balance, and the bad guys don't....
The finale could have been better . I think that the villains were very nerfed to oblivion in the finale . The order of fights were just bad and did not make sense . This is what should have been , Jay vs zoom , Wally vs savitar , Nora and impulse vs Godspeed (idk if Nora is strong enough alone but maybe she is ?) , and everyone else in team flash w impulse if Nora can beat Godspeed alone if not then just everyone in team flash( maybe some other people from the past seasons who are heroes ) Vsthawne , and of course there is Barry vs cobalt blue /Eddie thawne . This should have been the order of fights that people fought in during the season 9 finale , it just does not make any sense as there is not any rivalries but now this make sense . This just what I think would have made the finale better there might also be other things or peoples that I have not mentioned who could have fought or been put in the season 9 finale fight to make it a lot better than it actually was.

Or all of them vs Barry. Would have made the finale a lot more impactful and show that there is a lot on the line. They could have had all the other team flash members losing against the evil speedsters and then it’s just Barry who’s left to stop them all in the end.

all I wanted was to see zoom fight jay. Jay is faster and has a advantage towards zoom. Zoom gets pissed and runs away to a lab creates his own v9. He gets his blue lightning and sparks back. Him and jay are now toe to toe. When jay runs away zoom follows him for only a red portal to open and he is in the negative speed force. Jay tells Nora to run to the past to help the team. Zoom and thawne beat Barry up. Then zoom n thawne turn against each other and they fight each other to see who will kill Barry. Khione will fight savitar and temporarily bring frost back and gives her the v10. It would have been the perfect rematch between frost n savitar with both of them holding a grudge against each other. Khione is going after Barry so she can heal him, so that he can fight zoom n thawne again. And Nora is fighting god speed. Rest of team flash is held captive by cobalt blue who is waiting for Barry.
Like there could have been a better way to write this season. We didn’t need the fillers. Those could have been replaced with bringing back the previous speedsters
And to think that all of this could have been avoided with a little counseling and recognition that Eddie's sacrifice, while ultimately futile because of Eobards time travel shenanigans, bought Barry enough time to get fast enough to defeat Eobard once and for all.
Eric Wallace hyped Khione's big important role in the finale so Barry and others can get their happy ending, and it was just a goddamn pep talk that anyone besides Khione could have done. Dunno if to laugh or to question more than usual Wallace's mentality when it comes to his writing.
Jay literally only popped up to steal his speed and dipped💀they wasted so many potential interactions and dialogue. This is why we don’t stuff multiple final fights into one episode I love the Flash series and I’ll miss it but I hope companies use this as an example and helps them really understand what it means to hire Eric Wallace💀
It doesn’t make sense that Jay could take Eddie’s speed bc Jay uses normal speed while Eddie uses negative speed so Jay taking Eddie’s speed doesn’t make sense at all

for the persons saying that the fights ended too quickly yes youre right however remember that Khione is a literal god and Virtue is probably the strongest member of team flash she can out power the MInd Force in terms of psychic ability
So what happened to the resurrected speedster villains after they were defeated and got their speed taken away by Cobalt Blue? Did the positive Speed force send them back to the moment they were taken?
He is Henry/Jay’s doppelganger, 90s flash had a brother bamed Jay, im guessing in earth 3/earth prime the other brother got the name, plus Garrick was Henry’s mother’s maiden name, so the names just get switched around depending on the universe
I would’ve preferred seeing Jay Garrick fight Zoom than Khione & that one guy. I mean it only makes sense. Zoom had Jay captive for a long time. Would’ve been cool seeing Jay use his helmet to redirect Zooms lighting bolt back towards him instead of those other two

Opinion: Since the beginning of the final season, the writers succeeded in one thing: making some of the characters pretty much USELESS or at least giving them very minimum roles in action. 9x09: Spartan: he shot Bloodwork with a rocket launcher and gave Oliver his bow. 9x13: Jay Garrick and Chillblaine.

Bad writing honestly but if you were to go by the lore,it is because the negative speed force corrupts a person to make them hate someone.For example,Eobard Thawne idolised Barry,but when he presented himself to the world to save people,the flash took his glory.Also when Xs Nora(S5) went to the negative speed force,she wanted to kill Barry as she thought he stopped loving her.For Eddie it was because Barry stole his life,Iris .So to say one random act could make a speedster who uses the negative speed force feel hate for someone.
@@Ohma-zio436 it’s not bad writing. When Thawne created the NSF, he used his feelings of anger and hate to fuel him, making them an essential part of using the NSF. When a person then taps into it, it uses all their bad experiences to drive them to hate, even if they don’t want to, like with Nora and Eddie

Man... the CGI, the lazy writing, the once incredible villains... it really became laughable, I remember Seasons 1-3 were absolute peak television with moments of pure fear of the villains, with real heart to them and their purpose... then we got season 4-9.
I haven’t followed the show for a few seasons but what was the actual purpose of killing Caitlyn off-screen to replace her (character) with this identical Khione? Why did it need to be a different person lol, surely they could’ve made it just work with Caitlyn?

I like John Wesley Shipp’s Jay Garrick, but I’m disappointed that they didn’t do more with his version of Barry Allen. It would have been interesting to see Shipp’s Barry Allen face off against Matt Letscher’s Eobard Thawn.
