TUBESTEAKNIG RIP Kobe, his daughter Gianna Bryant and everyone on that helicopter. For those people that shout Kobe when they shoot hoops, don’t let that tradition die, don’t let this legends name die ❤️❤️❤️

Man, I feel like I could run thru a brick wall after hearing that story....absolutely inspiring and much props to Jay for being open with his struggles....
@@mendealingwithreality4656 He loves the game like we all love money? Or he loves the game like he loves money? So basically a competitor is someone who tried to take money or rob money from Kobe. The money brings up a good point about the makeup of Kobe mindset.
@@sidnarang9 ... DOES THIS MORON GARBAGE HOST JAY WILLIAMS HAVE ANY OTHER STORIES TO TELL??? HE HAS SAID THE SAME STORY ABOUT KOBE 10 TIMES ALREADY, IF I WAS ESPN, I WOULD FIRE HIM IF HE TOLD THE STORY ANY OTHER TIME, HOW MANY DAMN TIMES ARE YOU GOING TO TELL THE SAME STORY EVERYTIME YOU COME ON ESPN, CLOWN 🤡!!!!
I can't wait til Kobe gets inducted into the HOF. His tribute video should be equal parts highlights and testimonials of his work ethic. KOBE is my MJ..
I don't get the comparisons I get they are similiar but kobe should never be Jordan's shadow., he should be the first of his mold why cant people just say kobe is kobe?
Sumo Leonard your're right but Jordan is the GOAT so naturally people wanna compare ... when people compare lebron to Jordan that really pieces me off cause LeBron is a magic Johnson type player... I'm not a kobe fan but he is the closest to Jordan we will see prob
Joshua Haynes LeBron isn't magic because magic had no lift, no jump shot, but he was an all around player, LeBron is LeBron LeBron is 6'8 like 250, but looks like he's 225, dude had bounce, and hia jump shot is very underrated, you can't shoot 50 percent from the field and not have a jump shot, LeBron is LeBron, magic is magic, kobe is kobe, Jordan is Jordan its just a stupid excuse for people too argue it means nothing to these other players.. I juar don't get why people argue about who's better.. THEY are all special
Abanga Etuk some kobe fans boys should marry Beyoncé fan girls. Lol. My top 3 players with great work ethics. MJ Kobe ray Allen. Why only Kobe. I don't get it. And he's not even top 50 black athletes.
Kobe best quote....."hey kobe why were u in the gym for so long" cause i saw you come in"...kobe said..." no matter how hard you work...i will always work harder than you"...now thats no disrespect "you inpsire me to be better " KOBE THE 🐐🐐....crazy lines from kobeeee
When every story you hear about Kobe has the same description of his work effort, determination and competitiveness, you know Kobe had no choice but to be great. His last game he was running on fumes after he got to 50 but that was the milestone that Shaq requested so he had to get to 60. It's like when Shaq said 50, all the Mamba heard was 60
Seriously stunned by the news, Kobe you have inspired all of us and generations to come with your mamba mentality. Rest in peace you will always be in our heart
I think Rice was a level above anyone else. Kobe in his younger days was the best athlete in the league. Rice wasn't anywhere near the best athlete in the NFL. Kobe is on that next level with Phelps, MJ, Steph, Mayweather, Djokovic, and Shaquille O'Neal (jk).
Jordan and Jerry rice were ultra competitive no offense to Kobe but Jerry Rice alone is the GOAT of having the will to win along with Michael. the man every morning ran hills like nothing because he wanted to be faster and have more stamina. Even when he won a superbowl the next day he was in the facility by himself practicing. I love Kobe but Jerry to me was just insane with how ultra competitive he was. Don't get me started on Michael...
People will continually post these types of videos to remind people of what greatness use to look like, feel like and even smell like and im glad these videos will forever be around because these days kobe seems to be the most disrespected GOAT. PUT SOME RESPECK ON HIS GAME
Ill Logical ppl never disrespect Kobe. But once kobe fan boys started to claim the goat. That's the time things messed up. Not black mamba fault. But he cannot control those 10% of his fans.
idk what u are talking about he is a GOAT on many peoples lists including MJ. and its clear as glass that he is one of the most disrespected of the greats of all time especially when u take into account that he walked away with only 1 mvp. man i cant even get into detail about this but u wont find another player as good as kobe that gets as much disrespect
i never said "the goat" i said "A goat" big difference and yes MJ called kobe one of the greatest of all time but i guess u would deny that because u wouldnt know.
I’m glad I’m hearing this story from a rival from his time in the nba. It’s not the same when the person that did the action is the one telling it. Kobe showed Jay that no matter how hard he thought he was practicing, he was never going to go harder than Kobe... killed him before the start of the game and merely confirmed it after Jay went to talk to him. What a beast! Meanwhile you got LeBron posting his workouts on IG live 🤦♂️ no hate on LBJ but there’s really levels to greatness. LBJ had natural, physical ability that not everyone just has. Kobe was a workout warrior and sharpened all of his skills like swords before a battle.
Born and raised in Hollywood CA, grew up watching Kobe from the beginning. And he was a MACHINE! he never stopped, he's my GOAT. Seen him live was like nothing I could describe. Amazing 🙌 🙏. #AlwaysTheMamba
"No matter how great the setback, how severe the failure, you never give up. You pick yourself up, you brush yourself up, you push forward, you move on, you adapt, you overcome." John Cena
This Kobe story always gets me man. Hearing Kobe’s work ethic just makes me want to get off my ass and go conquer in life. He worked that hard. Always love that man ❤ rip bean
that being said a person has a finite amount of recovery resources. So, sometimes it's a matter of working smarter while working very hard (of course).
yup I believe phil Jackson said a key difference between Kobe and MJ’s mentality was that MJ knew when to stop. Kobe never knew when the work at the time was done . Love em both
and IMO..forget the hate, forget the stats, forget the "shooting %", forget the Shaq duel (which is common with everyone if someone makes it hard to work with you). Kobe bryant ALWAYS had psycho competitiveness and will to WIN. his eork ethic is unmatched. while also not being an athletic freak like Lebron. TOOO MANY ppl just wanna talk about stats..stats are overrated. look at the basketball skill overall, the IQ, and will to win. Kobe demonstrated that above everyone. no matter how bad shit got up the man gave his heart to the game and made millions of fans. Period
son, Lebron is 206cm with a compactness and moves of a 185cm guy . I dont know if you understand how big of an advantage that is. Plus his big ass arms. People like him, well they are born one in 10 million.
Wade is better then kobe tho. Wade just got injured all the time but not even kobes work ethic would get him the finals mvp that dwyane got in 2006. That was godmode.
you people still don't understand it. you what he witnessed there is a master class workout. Kobe mastered every move in the game you can ask the player. don't base on what commentator said. they were mentally killed when you played against him that's what they felt in every game kobe will drain you to the last drop of your hope. so I believe on players who played against him. and compete with him
yeah let's completely disregard numerical evidence and listen to the subjective opinions of players who grew up watching kobe. most of the greats consider lebron to be a top 3 all time player. larry bird has said it, magic, barkley, kg, i could go on... kobe is a top 10 player, but lebron beats him in pretty much every statistical categories. 5 rings > 3 but 3 Finals MVPS > 2.
There are many reasons why Kobe is the best, but here's one: Even after retirement, he's still waking up at 4-5AM and getting his workouts in...you can bring up stats, rings, etc. Kobe had true love and passion for the game and for all out rise and grind hard work. Even when he was winning rings in June, he was back in the gym 2 weeks later putting in work like he had just lost the finals. #Respect
The day before Kobe died, I was shooting hoops with my neice. She talked about someday being a great basketball player, and I so I told her this story about Kobe. Miss you Mamba
I feel the same competitiveness as Kobe. When I workout or go to a job I always feel like everyone is competition and I have to do my best. I just hate seeing people do better than me
I watched this on instagram reels and then forgot to save search really hard to find this clip finally i got this one and this one is really very inspiring ♥️
It's a great addition for viewers who are watching on mobile or in some other way where you can't turn the volume up. I'm glad more people are starting to do it
Iverson loved to practice, the day allen said that line his friend died so he skip practice but they asking why he skipped practice and allen is so depressed and they talkin bout' practice
