Jay-Z had a special on BET and when he performed Big Pimpin' he surprisingly brought out Bun B and Pimp C to perform also. When the song was over the crowd chanted "UGK UGK UGK" to the delight of everybody on stage. This is one of the best performances BET has ever recorded. You just have to see it.

They was only known in their region. Jay z made them mainstream and they made Jayz more known in the south. It was a nice trade off. I would of never heard of UGK without Jayz. I knew about ghetto boys because they were mainstream but UGK were local before this song
