I’m so happy to see that they included these great features. And such a good ambient mode is something i didn’t expect! I still need to wait for a rtings graph to see if they are equalizeable to my taste like my Gen 1 Vista’s which sound perfect to me. Thanks for the great review!
I love Jaybird and im still using my Vista's from 2019😂 they won't break. These new ones look amazing. These are what the new Beats Studio Buds were trying to be lol. Might have to pick them up.
I work in an exceptionally dusty environment, I've used Jaybird Tarah pros and they last about a year, I loved those headphones! I hope the vista 2s last longer than my current Samsung buds! They've only lasted me 7 months (6 month warranty too)! finally, excellent review
I’ll be honest. I’ve had the first version, Bose quitecomfort buds, and AirPod pros. But THESE are it! These are the best ones for active people. The ANC is amazing, not perfect but Amazing! The transparency mode is amazingly good too! I would recommend.
Dude the original pair of vistas were on my wish list for the longest and this is only 20 bucks more? I have a new favorite as of now! Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much for a really good first review of these. One thing I would add regarding other options in lower price ranges or even similar price ranges: I had the first gen vistas and after months of great use I swam in the sea with them and whilst they are waterproof they are not salt waterproof which to be fair they advise against this. My bad I forgot they were in my pocket. Long story long I needed to replace them. Apple and Sony have little dust or water protection and also less battery life. The Bose probably sound great but are much uglier on the ear with less battery and also higher price point. I tried some JBL which sounded good, had good battery life as well as an ambient mode butttttt....they weren’t as comfortable in ear. I went back to Jaybird and to my surprise they offered me a brand new pair of vistas under warranty. Took a few emails and a little time but ultimately they looked after their customer and sent me new ones via ups immediately. Since then I had no issues with them and honestly after spending hours and days looking at others and trying others....you just can’t beat the vista as an all rounder...the best ear bud on the market. P.s. most other earbuds don’t allow you to adjust eq either. Truly a market leader and this upgrade does add value to the first gen. great stuff from jaybird.

I specifically tested these on a call with my husband outside at night and blew a fan at it. It did NOT do well. These earbuds are definitely my favorite besides for calls. I wouldn't trust it walking around outside. There was a bird chirping nearby and it amplified the chirp instead of blocking it out haha.
Sadly they have all the major tech reviewer's reviewing the Sony 1000xm4 ear buds today, And not giving the review units to the real ear buds reviewer's.

Head the first Jaybird Vistas and the phone call quality was crappy... It picked up EVERYTHING in the background and received constant complaints whenever I called someone, it's great to hear that they have corrected this and will be picking them up. 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
I still go back to the Vistas so much even though I have "better" wireless earbuds in my collection. All of the upgrades are exactly what I wished the original had, so this is basically an insta-purchase from me despite the price.
I would stay away from these if you have a Samsung phone. I recently bought a pair and I guess they updated their app software which unfortunately comes with a bug that causes your audio to cut out when switching back and forth between apps. The only way to fix it is to keep switching your bluetooth off and on to reconnect, or delete the app entirely. So far they haven't released a new update to fix this issue and I've read other users who have the same problem, all of which use Samsung phones. Tested it on an iphone and it worked fine. Just a heads up to any potential buyers.
Wow, I’m impressed. I got the 1st gen because my friend as well as my brother recommended it, but I’m always annoyed that I can’t hear anything whatsoever when I have them in. I also don’t like that I can’t wirelessly charge them. Welp, looks like this fixed all of that! Now it’s going to be a tougher choice choosing between the Airpods and these :)
Just had them for 10 days use. Great fit, ANC and decent sound. Doesn't mean diddley squat when the battery management sucks ass. 100% charged, used for one training session. Put them on table, out of case. Did not go into standby as claimed after 1 hour. Battery drained to 5-10% next morning and useless for training session. Same behavior several days in a row regardless of settings, app reinstall etc. Also, only other way of turning them off to save power (short of having to put them back in case after EVERY use), is to change "keep button-pressed" function from Volume adjust to Shut off function. Meaning you lose ability to adjust volume as this can't se set on 1-press or 2-press functions. Not close to ready for launch. Returned.
I'm buying these since I accidentally put my original Vistas through a 60°C wash cycle :'). They're easily the best buds I've ever owned, primarily due to one factor which is the FIT. I genuinely don't understand how people wear AirPods after using these... AirPods fall right out of my ears every two seconds whereas these would stay in my ears if I got sucked up by a tornado while on a rollercoaster. I mainly wear them while walking, running or lifting weights so I really need a comfy fit that stays in my ears well

Have a pair of Jaybird Vista 2 and I Ioved them! They are perfect for high impact activities like running and jumping around. They hold really well in place and the surround sound mode is ok BUT as far as ANC goes, I am sorry to REALLY disagree with you. They do a good job at blocking external sound but it comes from passive mode, not the ANC. Because they fit well in your ears and create a good seal, you do get a decent amount of outside noise blobked but as for activating the ANC, it pretty much doesn't make any noticeable difference besides draining your battery faster. Like I said, I love them! They are rugged and sturdy. If your needs are ANC above all, go for Sony's wf-1000xm4, Its scary quiet but they are more fragile. If you want durability and waterproof for outdoor conditions these are a great choice. Hope it helps. Thx for the the video btw! Really enjoyed the review! :)
Good video, new TWS Earphones dropping left & right. The Sony XM4's, these Vista 2's & Beats Studio Earbuds among others. At least they included AAC this time around since the 1st generation only had SBC. $200 seems a bit pricey $179 seemed more in line with this set
You forgot to mention what I think is the greatest feature, the buds are replaceable if you loose one! Even the case is replaceable if the battery goes bad.
I have the first edition,I kept them because they're small and have good battery life, but if you're someone like me who have small to medium ears it'll be uncomfortable just in 5 minutes, otherwise they're really good.
i really hope this microphone is better. when i was in public tram and just in a little windy situation which is alot. it was just crap. the microphone for the vista 1 was so useless it was a scam to make customers pay 200 for them. But i hope this one is the comeback
These aren't terrible. The only major issue I have with them is that they basically disconnect when I'm switching apps. It doesn't say disconnected but the media isn't audible until I reconnect quickly.
Just ordered my Vista 2s from Jaybird. Comes with some sort of Launch Kit which is free until quantities are gone. Don't know what's included in Launch Kit. Hopefully will receive in couple of days as expedited shipping was also free. Wanted to get extended warranty but it wasn't available at time ordered because of issues on website...
These are near perfect. If ONLY they added multipoint to them, I would love to be able to switch between my phone and laptop with just one pair of headphones.

These have been great for me while hitting in the batting cages and pitching so they should hold up fine for basketball. The wing tips keep them from moving at all

Great review on demoing how calls would sound... Not very good, either in isolation, just you or crowd noise played over your speakers... Does ANC cut the crowd noise out? How does crowd noise sound with: Anc off? Anc on? Is there really any difference between two?

I had the previous model and there was static or distortion in the ear buds when I used them for phone calls. I tried these twice and the same problem occurred. I hope these are better.
Hear me out.... how do these compare to Soundpeats Q32? I have Jaybird X3's and feel they're not leaps and bounds over my Soundpeats. They have a more full spectrum sound. But I believe the comply pieces attribute to it greatly. I'd be interested to see how the new Soundpeats do if my old ones do this well.
Any tips about better fit? I'm using the original JayBird Vistas and while they fit well initially, after some movement they slip out and I lose the incredible bass.

What I love about my first gen vistas are thew fit and how small the case is. I've never had nay earbuds that fit better than the vista. When I decide to upgrade them I'm probably gonna go with the WF-1000XM4s but if they end up not fitting well I'll probably just go with the Vista 2. Can you map ANC/transparency mode to a double press of the buttons?
Get the bose sport they are just as good as far as sound maybe even slightly better and they are a bit more comfortable. Not as much controls and durability
The sound quality seems to be worse than on the original Vistas ? I read a review according to which those are not as powerful and the strength of the bass is worse. Did ypu have the same feeling when trying these ?
Gamesky I seen couple other reviews sayin that with anc on or pass thru that the wind noise super loud .... like really loud to where they had to turn both off and use just normal mode. Have you tried that at all to see if that's correct in your opinion? Any feedback on that would be greatly appreciated as I'd buy these to use at work and my job I'm outside daily walkin about 7 miles and thus are in mn/nd is almost always windy!! On sidenote just got the soundoeats t2 last week and frickin love them... wouldn't have bought without your review and your vid with that 20percent off code came in handy.. got em with tax for 43 bucks but been eying these and just curious what ya think or if ya haven't noticed that issue with those modes on?? Great sound on the first model but they failed on me within the first 4 days and I returned them. Also they would fall out of my ears a lot and the new model seems to have the same fit.
Yeah, I would have loved to know how they split it up exactly. Can you either fully control everything through touch OR the button? Or is it somehow split?
@@cameroniranpour Thanks for follow up... I've had Vista 2 for ~ 2 months now... Seems longer because I use them practically everyday... They've gotten better with couple of software uodates... But still have few more software updates go before obvious bugs are fixed... I'm very pleased with Vista 2s... One of most important thing for anyone to do immediately after getting Vista 2 is to update software on Vista 2
S G Thanks for that update buddy. I’m surprised that not many people are talking about these pair of earbuds. I love the original vistas but am looking to change at the end of year. The fact that my current pair have lasted me nearly 2 years is an absolute testament to their build quality. Looking forward to wireless changing and being able to use each ear independently. Questions: are the noise cancelling and transparency mode noticeable and as effective as you expected??? Also, do others complain about a lot of background noise in calls??? Thanks.
