like the sound of your bodhran, what brand, size, etc is it?

It's a Metloef. 16" x 4" deep. Medium thick goat.

It sounds like a snare drum when played with a jazz brush.

Ya! It's a nice substitute when you don't have a snare.

It sounds like a snare drum when adding the brush on the other side! I think I'll buy one of these online!

Are there any other Bodhran Players that tries to make the snare sound with the brush on that side of the instrument ? It would be cool to find other videos just like yours.
