Jazz talk episode 111 A tribute to Tony Williams 

Loved the first talk by Thelonius! So brilliant to hear him , he is jazz royalty. And always loved his drumming and his Jazz Funk TS Monk band.

Thank you guys for this moment sharing about Tony Who became my hero as soon as I heard him play on "Believe It " album and so much others. And that's also really moving and nice to see you all who each of you as drummers influenced me. Thank you Peter,(first heard you on Pinocchio) Alex( on Heavy Weather album), Lenny (No Mystery - I loved SophistiFunk) and special motion to Eric Gravatt for his absolutely brilliant drumming on "I sing the body Electric" album. I insist because for me ERic Gravatt is really an underrated one. THKS A LOT GUYS !!!

I saw Eric Gravatt with McCoy's big band, and his drumming was from out of this world. An incredible, mind-blowing drummer! Wow! And yes, the TW influence was there!!!!
