Leveler will always be one of my favorite guitar albums of all time. I've listened to that album front to back hundreds, if not thousands of times. It's still so sick.
Wow, thanks for the extremely kind words. Glad you like our workflow :) All we can say is that we think about it the same way ;) We are not a company btw, just two friends trying to contribute to the music scene we love. Thanks for the compliment anyway!
This is by far the best looking, best edited, best style for a "rig rundown" with artists. Glad to see a company noticing that fans already know the artists so there is no need for wasted time intro'ing an interviewer. The only thing that was left out that is super hard to find with most bands that I'd love to know is what kind of in ear wireless monitor system do they use? Other than that, amazing job TuneUp and thank you!
this is one great channel! keep up the good work and don't hesitate about doing videos 15 to 20 mins long. youtube was really lacking a channel like this! (=
Exactly! That was our way to ensure the artists say what they want, when they want and how they want. And why would we want to ruin the shot by introducing an interviewer when there's so much nice gear to look at. Our site and videos is ALL about the artists. Glad you noticed that ;)
Thanks guys! fucking love ABR and it's cool to know what they run at a live show! keep it up, don't worry about the time length! us gear nerds will stick it out haha! :P
We'll do our best to get those in sometime soon. It's all very dependent of their tours. If any of them pass through Belgium any time soon we'll try to get involved.
I fully understand that! JB can talk for hours haha, great guys btw, one of my favorite bands! I'm looking forward to the 'August Burns Red - Revisited'-episode haha and good luck with interviewing other bands!
Hey Arthur, thanks for the tips! We considered doing all that but we chose not to so all our youtube-videos have the same theme going on. We know we might miss out on some views by doing that tho.
Too bad you guys didn't got to chat with Dustin, cause I really want to know what his gear is and what amps he uses and stuff like that. Maybe something for a second ABR episode! Are you guys gonna do something like this with Parkway Drive?
Hey Mike. There's a few reasons why we didn't get to interview Dustin. Main reason is we didn't have any time left. We were given about 5min to do the interview. But JB and Brent were just so awesome and kept talking even though we had to get off the stage. We're sorry we didn't get to talk to Dustin but at least we have an excuse to re-scheduel a second interview and do a "August Burns Red - Revisited"-episode in the future :)

Sorry to disappoint Drew. We started this project just for guitars and basses but perhaps we can expand our crew in the future and also feature drums and other instruments. For now we'll probably stick with this format.
TO ANYONE WHO IS SUGGESTING BANDS TO INTERVIEW ----- Please keep the suggestions coming! We love to know which bands really buzz you! We keep everything writen down and check all tourdates. If one of the dates is in Belgium we'll do everything we can to get in the show and interview those bands. It's never easy, be we WILL try. As we said...keep the suggestions coming!

here's some:: Avenged Sevenfold. Bullet For My Valentine. Born Of Osiris. Bring Me The Horizon. Suicide Silence. Job For A Cowboy. Upon A Burning Body. Periphery. Rise To Remain. Billy Talent. Trivium. Black Veil Brides. The Word Alive. Parkway Drive. tell u what, their guitar workpiece is amazing imo!!
I think you would get alot more views if the video was called 'abr gear tour' or something, and maybe have a picture of guitars as something for the thumbnail. Awesome vid though.
+Brandon Hayes Hi Brandon, thanks for watching our videos! It's not a timer but a midi controller. It's hard to explain what it does but essentially you connect all your pedals to the midi controller (sometimes even amps). Then you can create a preset on the midi controller in which you specify which pedals you want to use for a certain tone. So for instance your "Lead tone" might need an EQ, an overdrive pedal and a compressor. When you press this button on the midi controller it will switch on your EQ pedal, your overdrive pedal and your compressor all at once. Maybe your "Clean tone" has a chorus, a reverb and a delay. So you set this preset as well on the midi controller. When you're playing your "Lead tone" you can press 1 button on the midi controller to switch to your "Clean tone" without have to tapdance all around your pedalboard. So the reason all those pedals are tucked away in that box is because he's controlling them with the midi controller. I don't know if this made any sense, but be sure to check out some video's online cause it's really cool technology.
+neerajvaidya Actually, a couple of weeks back we met up with JB again and this time around he was playing and AxeFX. It all depends on the kind of tour and whether there's budget to ship all the gear or not. When we did this interview they headlined the tour, so they were able to ship in their own gear.
