After trying the Beats studio buds, returning those and trying the Powerbeats pro, returning those and now trying the endurance peak3 I'm finally happy. For 99 dollars it sounds and fits better than the more expensive beats I returned. Thanks for the review.
Powerbeats pro are terrible I’ve had the lava red color and tried to like them but couldn’t I almost smashed them but decided to give them away they are not worth $249 maybe worth $60 at most the Powerbeats 3 aren’t that good either but actually sound better warmer and a lot more bass then the pros I kept 2 pairs of my PB 3 because they are simple and somewhat reliable only issue same as pb pros the Bluetooth transmission speed was noticeably inconsistent and I was able to hear the sound change because of the inconsistency
@@waldowsxxghostxx8577 I think the Powerbeats Pro are the best when they work. I spent hundreds of dollars on two of them and had the same problem with both. They're good for a couple of months, but after a while they won't charge. Tried all the tricks you see on the internet to get some connectivity with the charger and buds and it's hit or miss.
I have a Powerbeats pro, and only used it just a few times then issues started. at first one earbud is not charging, now bluetooth is not connecting at all.
I don't run but bought these recently because I need the over the ear feature since regular earbuds fall out of my very small ear canal AND wanted a quality product. Loving them so far. I have also ordered a bone conduction type to compare.
Hey! Long time audiophile who needs earbuds for work here! I just wanted to let you know that you don't have small ear canals. I've worked and shared (new) products with thousands of people. The reason they would fall out of your ear(I'm speculating through experience and very well may be wrong) is because you probably move a lot. The average person who reviews earbuds are people with sedentary jobs that don't require much movement. (Especially facial movement. It depends on a person's facial construction but some people like me can't smile without actuating their ears). Anyways, I've had JBL ear hook style earbuds for nearly 2 years. I've had about 5 sets (I work with bleach which kills everything electronic) and they've held out I until this very day. Just wanted to give some encouragement. I just bought the newest version an hour ago lol. JBL is a phenomenal brand but you get what you pay for (however even the gas station versions o e bought last a long time comparatively).
@@gustavo8449hello, I'm sorry it took 4 months for someone to reply. No, they are not good for swimming. I do have a job that requires me to figure questions like yours and I can say that if you do your research, you can find some Sony headphones that you can use while swimming. They used to sell a neckband high capacity MP3 player that was sold in a water bottle filled with water. Those might be what you want. They no longer sell them that way but the device is still solid and available. I don't remember the headphone name (they're around the neck with wired earbuds) but if you Google what I described you'll find them.
The bass is not as powerful as advertised for a flat EQ setting and I had to use the largest eartips to really feel the bass even for the bassy EQ settings, so ANC is a must indeed but it lacks it. I do hope that they add it in 4... Most work out earbuds suffer extremely bad call quality since the other side can't hear me clearly while working out in the gym and I either had to repeat myself or shout for them to hear me, so this applies to all sports earbuds... I didn't not feel real fatigued while wearing them for 4 hours in the gym and I love their grip on the ears, very secure indeed and allowed me to concentrate while working out, also the IP68 is wonderful for my picky preference, I use jazz for the EQ since I love melodic metal stuff, the touch controls are good as I use two fingers to tap so that they never missed a tap and they are big enough for the two fingers tap, finally I do love the ambient sound since it saves me pausing music to hear my colleagues in the gym! All in all, I do love these earbuds for the gym.. ANC and wireless charging as well as case battery level in the app are a must for the next release...
Thanks for the high quality video! This was the best review I found on RU-vid after about 30 min hopping in and out several channels. Totally MKBHD level. 🙏
With the level of video quality and precise information I'm absolutely shocked you don't have more subscribers. I follow tons of tech reviewers and the absolute quality of your videos had me completely shocked when I saw you only have 1k subscribers. Subscribed man. You legit deserve it. (Also I just bought the earbuds because of your review). Edit2: That Nike fit is mad slick. Esit 3: im dumb, you have 77k subs. Edit whatever:.. The following is a comment I left on another comment. I'm still on the earbuds a month later. Go for the cheaper model with less touch controls. THESE earbuds sound phenomenal. Best sounding Bluetooth headphones I've ever owned. That being said, the play\pause feature just doesn't work. The setting for volume control on the same earbud works though. (Bit you have to choose one or the other on the app) Phenomenal sounding earbuds, especially for Bluetooth but for the price look elsewhere. Oh! They ARE insanely water and bleach proof. So if that's what you're looking for these are a 10\10. Edit: I doubt many softwashers are here but these are super bleach resistant..just turn the touch controls off besides volume.

Thank you so much for the video! I have the Samsung buds, but they constantly fall out of my ear. I was choosing between these and the Beats Powerbeats Pro; and you just helped me with my decision. The voice call test was the cherry on top. Great review!
My powerbeats pro started having issues after 2 years a little while back (like 2 weeks after the warranty expired lol) and while the Airpods Pro are absolutely amazing i just cannot leave the house with them in knowing they will fall out. Wish Beats and Apple made a direct succesor to the powerbeats pro with a earhook rather than the Fit pro. Looks like these JBL ones might be the move for everyday and gym use
I just picked up a pair of these, and like any ear buds I've tried I can't get any volume out of them unless I push them farther into my ears. No bass with these either, maybe I'm just not an 'earbud' guy..?
Thanks for the very informative video! I'm SUPER sweaty when I workout, like "did you just jump into a pool?" drenched when I run outside in the summers. So no earbuds without the hook have ever stayed put for me. I just tried the soundcore sport x10s, but I was so annoyed by the awful little button on each bud for play/pause and volume controls. Also the audio quality was just really sub-par. Your review convinced me to switch and I'm super happy. Thanks!
@@stopdalies yeah, and they kinda suck. The right bud is like 30% as loud as the left. And the passthrough mode is useless when running because it just is wind noise. Pretty disappointed
@jameslk68 Yeah, I went on to read about six other reviews online, and they all pretty much said they have a lot of problems and that when they did get replacements it was like they sent them the same pair. Thanks again.
Thanks for the review. I just returned these after 2 days of use. They are trash. Poor bluetooth connectivity to S23 and terrible functionality. The app was also wonky. Sound was good but not great. However, they were very comfortable.
hello, the most important thing for me is the sound quality, which is the product with the best sound quality? Apple Airpods Pro 2 Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 Sony WF1000XM4 Sony Linkbuds Sony Linkbuds S Jbl Reflect Aero Jbl Reflect Flow Pro Jbl Live 2 Pro Jabra Elite 7 Pro
Had to come over from Amazon where I listened to and watched the review. It is by no doubt the best review of these earbuds I have seen by anyone. Congratulations, you sold this old guy and if as good as stated, no more Galaxy Buds Pro 2. Not due to sound quality, due to being told to stop shoving earbuds INTO my ear and just hang them by a hook and just a tiny bit into the canal.
I dont get it. Do these earbuds have noise cancelling? I got to loudy gym, there's always high volume music when I go to the gym, and currently I can't heal nothing with my old jbl cheap earbuds.
Sadly my Endurance 3's kept falling out of my ear, really wanted to like these as I had the wired Endurance Peak headphones a few years ago and they were great. (I did look how to put these on and I guess my ears are too weird) I did go with bone conduction headphones and those do work a lot better for fit, and I can hear my surroundings a lot better. Audio quality is garbage sadly but a sacrifice I'm okay with.
Just bought this hoping fhe warm audio with bass. I was so disappointed. Then there is this frying sound that preceeds any audo feed. I thought JBL, such a big name in audio would make a top notch earbud, no i just wasted $15000 Ja dollars on this crap. Im sure rhey wont tale them back.
Hi JACOBS I have a problem with the volume in conversations... I can't talk because I can't hear well at all. I listen to music very well. The problem is that during calls you simply cannot hear even when the volume is at maximum. Do you know what can be done? Thanks
I've bought several earbuds over the years. After a year or 2, one of them always malfunctions and is unusable. If I sweat too much, the sounds blasts or it will skip the song I'm listening to. How do these stack up against those specific issues?
I've had two pairs, and they work good for a month and then stop charging. It's maddening. They also suck in cold weather. Try using touch controls in 20 degrees Fahrenheit with gloves on. Useless. All there do is sound ok.
I just bought these and I'm not very impressed. Got volume up all the way and it's just not quite loud enough for my liking. Also when using ambient noise controller it sounds like the ocean in the background
I had the Endurance Peak 2 and today the loop on the right one broke off! So I bought the Endurance Race instead of the Peak 3 because I think the loop part might break from looping it over the ear so much. But the ones I really liked were the Reflect minis which are no longer available. Hope the Race ones work well.
Hey, I had a similar problem with my older looped earbuds. Do you happen to have a habit of stretching the hook out to place on your ear? That's what my problem was. I found the best way was to thread the end of the hook over the top of my ear first and then adjust as needed.
@@cowbatboots282 Maybe, well the Race ones didn't work out, I have small ears and I felt like it left bruising in my ear and so decided on the Peak 3. They feel better and hopefully don't snap.
They are very safe and stay on your ears BUT the sound is not great. Tune Beats sound A LOT better! I would not recommend these. I really miss the ANC fro the TUNE buds
Nice tutorial But few problems Case so smouth i cant open the case when hands are dry so imagine while swetting Also i thought it can be my office headphone so when i use only one side of them the phone calling experience is so baaaaaaad, it has to be both side together After 3 days i feel like the magnetic mechanism isnt so proactive and am not sure if it will keep working correctly, time will tell Also since there is no sound noice cancelation i have to aya i regret it
Are they really secured and stable during intense workouts or they need to be readjusted every now and then? Plus are they comfortable if used for extended time?
I am looking forward to these as a runner. My only dislike is the JBL app (I had crashing issues previously but it could have been my phone). Love your review videos 👊🏼👍🏼.
Hi So I using the powerbeats pro in the last 5 years but the battery gets to playing I think is about the end. So as its not available from new anymore do you say its a great replacement? I hope so, it seems like.
These suck. I had them for 3 weeks and the sound quality (loudness) went south. The best JBLs I have (and i still have them) are the Endurance jump. They are wireless, but the wire wraps around the back of your head. Those JBL Endurance Peak 3 stink
Thanks for the very informative video! How stable is this earbud? I'm worried that it can easily fall off during exercise. I prefer to use ear-hanging Bone conduction headphones. Now I am using Wissony Hi Runner, which has good stability, wearing experience, sound quality and water resistance, and is worth recommending
would these be good for paddleboarding? for the occasional fall into the sea and getting right back to the surf board. maybe rinsing them with some sweet water right after im considering those because i want Bluetooth connection as well
After 4 years of use my endurance peak 2 broke. The left one didnt load anymore,so i bought the peak3 without any review, because i loved the peak2. Just trying them out right now with this video
I'm sure this video is fine for people who have a good deal of experience with wireless ear buds, but is essentially useless for those of us who don't.
IP68 means 6 - total protection against solid (dust) ingress 8 - total protection against water ingress including complete submersion below one meter and for more than 30 minutes.
So basically, yes. But if you find a product made specifically for music whilst swimming, it's probably a better option than risking £100 on headphones that are marketed as a gym earbuds.
Outstanding video vato! My air pods pro keep falling out while I’m working. Very frustrating! I’m gonna have try the hooks my man! Would you recommend these over the Beats hooks?
I have had two pairs of the JBL Endurance Jump. They were great but over time the rubber wore and they would break. These Endurance Peak 3's look much better
