The old battery in our speaker swole so that we couldn't get it out. We forced removed it and in the process the ribbon got disconnected and got sucked under, which we didn't notice. Thanks to this video we were able to identify the issue, reconnect the ribbon (it wasn't easy getting it through the slot, though) and got a working speaker with a brand new battery. Thanks you so much for posting!
Thanks for your really helpful video. After changing the battery (for nothing) in fact the issue was the little blue ribbon which was loose. Thank you 🙏
Thank you homie. I didn't tried it yet but ima do it later. My speaker fell from 2 meters but it continued to play for 2 hours after that I turned it off and now it doesn't work. I hope this helps.
I just noticed why is the rubber panel that covers the power button and light indicators different? It should not come off easily or rather it should not, which to prevent water from getting inside the circuitry. It's different in design from majority of jbl flip 4s
*Disable and Re-Enable the Internal Battery via program logic* Hold the JBL CONNECT button beside the power button, and volume up, until the fifth light flashes red. Then plug in the JBL Extreme if not already and power it on and do the key combo again to enable the internal battery again. -->This totally fixed my BT Connection issues and where the unit would Abruptly power down when connected via Bluetooth. Also it sound better too like it kinda sounded blown before idk maybe that like my placebo ears. I also did a *Full Reset (Bluetooth & Volume+ Buttons Held for 10 seconds till reset)*
This appears to be a bad solder joint or connector. Replacing the connector would be the ultimate fix for this. It’s actually not hard to do either. From the looks of it they were only 8 to 10 pins on it. If you have a steady hand and some patience you can take off the old one and replace it with a new one by soldering it.
I have to jiggle my charge cable to get it to the right spot so it will charge... where do you get replacement charge ports.... also which new model did they switch to a C charge port? Assuming they did at all.
@@joeygould6798 yes! but i had experienced a strange fix. So I changed the battery and the speaker worked, but it wouldn't charge(no blinking light when i connect the charger), tried resetting but no luck. I drained the battery and didn't use it for a few days, after that I was able to charge it now,LOL really strange. I suggest you start with replacing your battery first if you haven't done as that is the most common issue for JBLs.
