JBL FLIP 5 - DSP Low Frequency Mode 

I'm getting emails asking where i bought this thing: I did online from harmanaudio dot com, and they had only a few colors in stock. I think i ordered on July 4th, and i got it yesterday. So it took 5 days to get here.

I used this and it worked great once and I was testing it out and turning it up and down and after that one time it won’t do it again

There's no such thing as “low frequency mode”. That mode you're using is a debug mode made for JBL to diagnose any issues with it. Listening to music with debug mode active can potentially cause damage

Before I try this... could this damage my Flip 5? The demo unit at Best Buy had a horrible buzzing coming from the radiators, clearly blown. Maybe caused by people pressing on the radiators with their fingers?

It seems like the factory default is: Bass Mode On, is it correct?

how do we know if the LFM is turned on or off ?

How i turn it back to standard mode i already try the low frequency now

it seems to be turning of after a small time... Could it be?

I have the flip 5 does the low frequency mode affect the normal mode because it opens the speaker up to more excursion, have know about it but too scared to try it

I pressed the volume down button and Bluetooth button for more than 10 seconds at the same time, but the lfm mode doesn't work. There's no lights. What can I do?

Just a heds up to everyone out there. This is NOT low frequency mode. Jbl uses this feature to do diagnostics when plugged in. This info straight from manufacturer. Tech also stated this is the WORST thing you can do to the speaker. Thanks for the false info bro...
