@@simjanoskibojan I beg to disagree. The Charge 4 lacks the high frequencies compared to its competitors at the same form-factor. I have upgraded to a SC-UA7 and will never go back to a smaller form-factor again.
Yawn 🥱 had the Update, returned my charge 4 months ago, JBL needs to update all their Speakers to partyboost, that will be a software update worth updating. The minor bugs that it includes doesn’t tell anyone anything, Soo for the sake of “other JBL users” don’t update, especially if you have no issues with your unit.
mygiguser Yeah, same here, I personally don’t believe that tbh seeing as though The larger sizes of their partyboost speakers, I believe they simply don’t want to release software for Connect+ enabled speakers to get more sales out of newer units. In that case I’m not going to complain & just add more connect+ Speakers to my Group of Connect+ speakers if i decide you do so & same for My Flip 5 if I decide to add more partyboost enable speakers to my current Flip 5, to rid the issue.
Maybe the updated the chip in the flip 5 But they still could of put it backwards compatible too so you can use jbl plus speakers too they just done that to save money 2 to splash more money out for speakers for extra ones He's just a market to get people to buy more from them
You can't revert back to previous firmware once you update. To toggle between regular mode and Low Frequency Mode hold down both "-lower volume" and Bluetooth buttons for 10 seconds until the ring around power and BT buttons lights up. Beware the LFM distorts badly and is not recommended, especially at higher volume levels it could potentially blow your speaker.
Hello, my jbl charge 4, wont turn off, i have to press 5 times the off button and long press before it turn off, then it wonr turn on, and also the key minus volume button becomes the off button too..can you help me?
I have TL version and i updated mine to 3.0 version. It's not bad but the difference is noticable. I regret it at first but i got used to it so yeah... It's all up to you
So my jbl charge 4 is not responding and the low charge percentage light is flashing red and when I plug it in to the charger it turns on buh it’s self and turns off 10 seconds later can anyone help?!
I'd like to be able to use at a meeting when we have 8 people calling in a conference call. The loud crisp sound of this speaker would make it easy for everyone in the room to hear.
