Listening to this rn after i bought one

I just want to say this speaker is a beast. I was blown away and very impressed with the bass. I will definitely recommend this.

Got it a month ago, using it for trainings, conference calls, music listening and watching movies....am loving it!

I know JBL has revised this model a bit, but this version is killer. My wife and I have one each. She uses hers for background music while she sets up for events. People who have helped her have been shocked at the sound.

Gave mine to my daughter, miss it so much I bought a new one.

Got mine for 79.99 euros and for it size for me it's perfect i can easily bring it everywhere and it's loud as hell in doors and outdoors and since it has a size of a water flask i can put it side on my backpack while going to events with some friends! Ofc it doesn't have the same level like the charge series has but because of how small it is but yet the sound quality is great would even recommend it for the full price 139.99 euros here in italy

My flip 5 stopped working. Only works when plugged into the charger. Which is devastating bc I use it every day lol it was awesome for going to the lake. Can only use it at home now ☹️

Jbl Go3 is good. (Small Portable) Charge 3 is very good. (Home) Jbl Flip 5 is Good. Wonderboom 1 is super good. my favorite is Wonderboom 1, i like the base, Boom Boom 🎉

Audio sounds great. These units however have an issue with not charging ... just check online about flip5 not charging. I used mine once and now it does not charge and I’m locked in battle with JBL support. I’m sending this unit to the landfill ....garbage to me if it does not work.

The *Flip 4* is still the best speaker in the JBL Flip line-up without any doubt, though the Flip 5 sounds marginally better... less bright. I got mine in India for $91 in November 2019 but the price went up to $110 after that and has pretty much remained there. (In India) The reason is, while the Flip 5 sounds good, it is not better... in fact it is a major step backwards. . The Flip 4 is stereo, the Flip 5 is mono. . The Flip 4 has a mic, it is an excellent speaker phone. The 5 doesn't have a mic! . The Flip 4 also has a bass boosting feature. Press the Bluetooth and the Volume down button for about 10 seconds and you enter Extra Bass Mode. . The Flip 4 ports are covered with a watertight flap. The 5 has them exposed. How waterproof can that be? . Flip 4 has a 3.5mm / Aux In port. The 5 doesnt! Though it is BT 4. The Flip 4 has a bright sound and a very tight bass and open mids. (I reduce the treble a tad, with my phone's eq, just a small step and it sounds perfect. For speech and muffled recordings, it is crystal clear as is. It also has 2 active drivers and 2 passive bass radiators. The Flip 5 has one active driver, however it charges via type C, sounds good and looks as good as the 4, though slightly larger. The 3.5 aux input is essential for watching video without lag / latency. This speaker is a perfect blend of sound and size, portability, compatibility, style and ruggedness. It has an IPX7 rating and it lives up to it. Battery life is fine, not great, for either. The price, at $90 is fair. And if you can by any chance place it in a corner, it blows the lid off much larger speakers! This is a small speaker you will fall in love with, can carry around and never tire of! 4/5*. 1/2 off for the average battery and 1/2 off for being a fraction too bright. Flip 4 rules! **** 😊 _

Flip 5 or xtreme 2?

not waterproof, water RESISTENT

I received one as a gift. It sounds great when it works. Unfortunately the quick start manual isn't much help so you'll have to watch videos to figure out how to use it. Be prepared to spend hours trying to troubleshoot it if it won't work with your device.

this speaker is a piece of garbage in my opinion i try plugging into my laptop with other blue tooth devices like my mouse and wireless laptop and it keep shutting off MAKE A NOTE THIS SPEAKER IS ONLY FOR YOUR PHONE OR ONE SPEAKER FOR ONE DEVICE !!!! I WANT SOMETHING BETTER !!!!!
