JBL speakers are good for work (factory, construction) or outdoors. For indoor listening where you can hear all sound details, Marshall & Bose are better choices.
I totally agree with your evaluation of these two products. I tested them in a local shop, haven't bought any yet. I feel like the JBL screams at you, but therefore can provide loud and wide sound to you, and effects and bass come out stronger than the voice of the singers. Whereas the Marshall can create a warm, relaxed atmosphere and gives out all components of the music at a regular and similar level, but feels a bit like it's hiding away the sound. So Marshall is probably better for indoors and background music or dedicatedly listening to special songs. From far away Marshall isn't that much of a party animal. JBL is more enjoyable with electronic music I guess, and maybe without lots of vocals.
I think both are good in their own way. The Emberton more for indoor use low level listening. I think the flip 6 is tuned for outdoor use and it seems more rugged as well. If they were both the same price I'd go for the flip 6, though, because I think it offers more versatility since it has a dedicated app with eq adjustment. Thanks for another great one! 👍
Actually i heard music for the first time with Emberton when i was traveling abroad i rented a Airbnb, and this speaker was in the appartment. It really surprised me so much that i bought one myself. It's stylish, has a amazing build quality, sounds very good for the size, its perfect for traveling. I noticed it was great with house, rnb, hiphop, rap music. It really shines with some specific style of songs where it just hit perfectly. It sound best at max 75% vol. Higher then that and it will lose the punch with most songs.
I actually have the Marshall speaker. I looked and tried many speakers before deciding on the Emberton but for the type of music I listen to which is Ol Skool R&B, Jazz, HipHop and Soft Rock ,none sounded as good as the Marshall.
In my country Marshall Emberton costs 15000 Indian rupees and JBL Charge 5 costs same. Undoubtedly if I think for Marshall then JBL charge 5 is my pick. JBL Flip 6 yet to get launched at India but I am sure JBL Flip 6 would certainly cost lesser than JBL Charge 5 so undoubtedly if portability and budget to be considered than JBL Flip 6 and if neither of them than JBL Charge 5 which is a beast.
I own both and for me the Marshall sounds clear more detailed sound, but if you want louder the flip is louder, I’m keeping the Marshall for indoors use and the flip for rugged use.
Emberton is Stereosonic, JBL is not. You get 360 surround sound with the Marshall which for low-mid volume lounge playing is superior, thus why its more expensive, its a speaker for musicians, artists, sound specialists. Bose is something in the middle of both, better sound and bass than JBL but less quality and clarity than Marshall.
@@CEONTHEMAKING no problem at all. always happy to support my fellow content creators. i am looking forward to improving on my own current video format i have uploaded and, in the future, trying to create content as good as yours in the long term.
nice comparison BUT your choice of music on the comparison - wow - terrible - you should pick music that has a range and various interments - this music you choose is worthless to compare the two. BTW - I did purchase the Flip6 and just back from a trip with it - Others marveled at the full sound at both high and low volumes.
Both nice speakers...nice review... i have the Marshall Emberton along with about 15 other bluetooth speakers.....will be adding the JBL Flip 6 to my collection or maybe a pair of them once they are finally released in Canada ( can't find them anywhere yet here ) cheers from Canada and MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
You are using all modern songs for sound test? Thats not really nice for Marshall signature, try to use modern, classical, instrumental and 90s rock'n'roll in your review
In my country Jbl is way cheaper than Marshall. Marshall costs 82 usd more. Again I like more bass with song. I also listen to classical, 90s, instrumental. I picked up the JBL. Trust me jbl has got all categories backed up. But marshall is better in classical, instrumental or 90s song. Still jbl sounds good. Considering the price and more bass in jbl ,I definitely recommend jbl. Again jbl is all rounder. Its mostly your choice if you listen In person like me. I listened both.
I bought the marshall and instantly refunded it for a flip 6 marshall sounds great at lower volumes but can't keep up at higher volumes sounded tinny jbl packs punch id say marshall would be a great little indoor speaker but jbl is definitely a better price for what youre getting
@@ralphnamalata6203 it's not stereo because one driver and passive radiator on the front and the same one driver and passive radiator on the back, which I think is not a stereo set up, but more like a 360° speaker.
@@vinny1029 well it does matter as you can also easily realize flip 6 can be also called flat 6 with a single driver it has. Soundstage is wider on emberton since it has more drivers and 360 degrees speaker. It also has the better sound signature. I generally listen to my Bluetooth speaker indoors I prefer Marshall all day everyday. But if I was to look for a party speaker then I would go for either charge 5 instead of flip 6 or I’d invest more and get the boom box.
Bro MARSHALL IS VERY OLD COMPANY And JBL IS NEW COMPANY SO IT'S TECHNOLOGY IS HIGH THAT'S WHY JBL IS EXCELLENT THAN MARSHALL . I THINK IAM RIGHT BRO SO PLEASE REPLY ME
