I think the Onn would be a solid, inexpensive option for like a garage speaker, where the acoustics aren't great to begin with. Have it out by the driveway when you are washing your car or cleaning it out.
@@JaysStraightUpReviewssince the JBL costs 2x of the onn would 2 in stereo be better than the 1 JBL? I’m looking for a portable battery speaker for my son’s dj gear.
People don't underestimate Jay when he says the Onn doesn't have the quality sound that the JBL has. That's a huge deal. It's the difference that really puts a smile on your face each time you play it for years to come. So in my book it's definitely worth the extra outlay. Because soon after, you're not going to care about the extra cash you spent on the JBL and you'll be glad you did.
Absolutely. It's sort of like home subwoofers. You can buy a cheap one to go boom boom, but paying more gets you a more accurate and powerful sound. One other thing to note is the Partybox 120 now has a removable battery, so it's more future proof of you wanted to have it for several years. Just buy a new battery if you wear out the original one.
