He said "real world use is 80% volume" im not even trying to listen to the Xtreme 3 at 80% volume unless im outside inside about 45 to 50 perfect volume is more then enough volume
Idk I'm a kitchen manager and like the ambient noise in a kitchen makes my extreme 3 sound quiet unless it's about 60% minimum. My bb3 or pb110 can keep up with 30-50%. I haven't tried the 710s because it's my job lol
@@shadow80151 try the sound core motionx600 it sounds like the artists head is singing the song to you music is a different kinda audio experience the you’d definitely hear your music at like 40 or 50% volume it sounds way better then my xtreme 3 and my boom 2
The W - KING X20 & the Soundcore Boom2 are 2 of the best budget speakers of the year so far. For what they offer in price to performance, they’re hard to beat.😂
Few days ago I picked up a brand new BoomBox 3 for $250 (tax included) and I'm absolutely loving it. Best value for that price if you can get it on -50% sale. Otherwise, go for W-King. It's really good value too.
@@LukeR1M Damn, that’s a helluva deal! I own both the BB3 & W - KING X20. I paid $399.99 before tax for the BB3 which was about 1 1/2 years ago. I paid $224.99 before tax for the X20 on Amazon about 4 months ago. A lot of people like to compare these 2 speakers, but it really isn’t a fair comparison because they differ in sound profiles & use cases. If you’re looking for a good sounding indoor speaker with rich bass, go with the BB3. If you’re looking for a speaker that gets loud with good stereo separation, clarity & volume for outdoor use, go with the X20. The battery life on the X20 is better than average as well.
I own the BB3, the X20 & the EXTREME 3. The BB3 performs better indoors, while it’s plugged in placed near a wall. The X20 performs best outdoors, with detail & clarity at the loudest volumes with ample bass.
All i do with my jbl charge 4 is carry it around to conveniently listen to music around the house. But it's no longer doing it for me, its lost its magic. Im thinking of either the boombox 3 or the xtreme 4, anything that i can listen to very "filling the whole space" kind of music with, especially in the shower with & have my me time. Thats a musst. But idk ..🤔
Well if you want theee very best then I suggest MiniRig 4. It has separate subwoofer and two omni directional speakers. I have the MiniRig 3 and it's the best but not convenient like the JBL Boombox 3.
How is the Ult 7 gonna stand up against the JBL BOOMBOX4 when it comes out, that should be interesting. Can't beat Sony Ult 7, the extra features alone make it a better speaker than JBL.
Bluetooth Codec JBL Xtreme 4 OR Boombox codec {SBC} Sony ULT 7 OR SRS-XG300 ~ SBC / AAC / LDAC codecs are very different. In terms of sound quality, Sony is overwhelming.
@@betelgeuse227 Exactly. Higher codec won't magically make a speaker sound better. Hardware is still the most important factor and Sony uses really cheap drivers. Especially on the Ult 7.
@@abigailsophia1004 JBL has a good sound signature only in party box versions, and its small speakers do not have an interesting sound signature. But all Sony speakers have the same sound signature and only the volume is different If anyone wants to buy JBL, they just have to buy Ultimate Party Box
@@abigailsophia1004 In the comment I read, you said that you have a Party Box 710 The Party Box 710 has a very good sound signature But unfortunately, JBL does not have a good sound signature in smaller models such as boom box, JBL in Koechak models But Sony has a very similar sound signature from Sony Tower 10 to Sony ult 1 Sony ult 1 and ult7 speakers have the best sound for their size. JBL's powerful and deep bass is only for the partybox series But that's not the case with small speakers like boomboxes, and the JBL has a different sound signature on the smaller models, which tend to be weak and lack strong bass at all. The sound signature of the Sony Tower 10 and ult 1 are quite similar, only the dimensions and volume are different. But, for example, JBL Partybox Ultimate and Charge 5 have completely different sounds and their sound signature is not the same.
Xtreme 4 says 80 watts max on Amazon but boombox 3 says 5 watts max. I didn't understand this. But Xtreme 4 looks more backpack friendly in bad neighborhoods. You can't hide the boombox 3. What's the DB on each of these speakers. I have had the turtle box for the past 4 years and it is still the loudest speaker I've ever owned at 120db with a 6x9 speaker. But the JBL speaker has way deeper bass that I like. If only the turtle box had a passive radiator or a port I feel more of that bad bass we all love so much.
The W - KING X20 offers a much better value than any of these speakers, which retails for $319.99, but ever since it launched, it’s been marked down to $224.99 or less on Amazon.😅
For several years, JBL was the leader and Sony was left behind from JBL, but now the era of Sony has started again. Now that we are in 2024, Sony is standing ahead of JBL.
@SelenaLenaLeine If you want a small speaker like boombox 3 or ult7 Definitely, Sony has no competitors in these speaker dimensions and is the best But if you want a big speaker like Party Box Ultimate or Sony Tower 10 It's totally a matter of taste which one is better, JBL has a deeper bass and you can feel the bass in your bones But the Sony Tower 10 has a louder and wider sound, which is more suitable for outdoor spaces and has a wonderful sound reproduction. But for an indoor space like a hall, I think Ultimate is better But this is a matter of taste and both of them look quite satisfying The reason for this dramatic difference between small and large JBL speakers is that JBL has a different sound signature in its smaller models, such as the boom box and party box models, and JBL's strong bass is only exclusive to the party box versions. But Sony tries to make the sound signature of all its speakers similar, only the volume differs The sound of ul7 and ult tower 10 are completely identical in terms of sound quality and only have different dimensions with different sound volume. But partybox ultimate and boombox 3, in addition to the signature volume and sound type, are different
The boombox 3 is a POS, it has a single mono woofer in the middle and tries to make up for that with stereo tweeters. It's the cop out of all cop outs. What a joke. Anything that calls itself a "boombox" should be an actual stereo with separate tweeters and separate woofers!
I have 4 flip 6s that I bought for Surround sound. I cant even connect 2 of them (a foot apart) without a song cutting out 40 times. JBL has miles to go with connection issues. I'm not running to Sony just cuz they finally caught up. Sony can sink.
