i guess we cant compare properly because of speaker orientation. 300 will have better stereo separation because the tweeters are placed far apart. I love 300s feature of selection of tweeters based on orientation.
You done a great review - i was gonna return my Partybox 310 as i thought the bass treble and echo button was not working - until you emphasised it is for the Mic only !!!! great stuff. I love my partybox purchased it so i can take it roller skating
Recieved my 310 today and was panning to return it as i ordered a 710 afterwards, will recieve that one tomorrow! The 310 is a major upgrade over the 100 and slight upgrade over the pb encore (not essential) the pb encore sounds more hifi in the treble and mids but the bass depth definitely a lot better compared to the pb encore and pb 100, cannot imagine how the 710 will sound, some users claimed the pb 310 sounds like a toy compared to the 710/1000 will find that one out but im still keeping the 310 as its very compact due to its handle and wheels. Great speaker the 310
After much debate and looking at the Partybox on the go, 100, 300 and 310 I purchased the 310 and absolutely love the design and sound!! It sounds clear and the base is very impressive! What finally sold me on jumping to the 310 over the others is the Battery life and also it can be run on AC and DC plus the IPX4 water resistant rating as we have a pool and here in Florida you never know when a rain 🌧 storm will suddenly come up and I don’t want to panic if it gets splashed or a slight rain storm....but of course I will try for it not to get wet at all but it’s nice to know it can take a little water! Thank you kindly for the video it helped me in my decision!!
@@nebylicza I have been getting 6-8 hours and the battery was still between 50-59%! That’s with the speaker between 40-70% volume with bass boost 1 and no lights on! I have been very very impressed with my 310’s battery and that is saying allot as I do not like the battery life I get on my JBL Pulse 3.....which made me pause a bit on purchasing the 310 but I am glad I did purchase it as the sound quality is stunning and quite amazing....hope this helps!!
@@waatao9856 The bass is pretty darn good but after my 310 stopped charging after about 11 months I upgraded to the 710 and oh man the bass on the 710 is awesome 😎
Hey ! Thanks for this awesome review ! I just wanted to know if there is any transport case for the partybox 310, i’m a little bit scared to carry it under the rain... :(
This is an excellent item bough this summer for our garden party for kids birthday (under 12 don’t count) and it was like being in a proper discotheque even though it’s was outdoor
hey buddy, nice video and review! i also bought this speaker and i have a question. does the tweeters sound different at yours? like the left one has more highs and the right one more mids (and right one is more louder). i also play it with my Pioneer DJ controller and sometimes “burps” like a strange sound. (i noticed it at 40% volume, with gain at 0, so not at high). on phone is playing perfectly… maybe because my dj controller is output 44.1 khz?
What a nice review! Is this great for outdoors with sorrounding with many people? I have a JBL on the go and i want to upgrade since on th e go is to weak for outdoor events
Very Nice Review! Have you tried connecting a Denon receiver or any other receiver for that matter to this JBL 310 speaker via a 3.5mm mini plugged cable from receiver headphone jack to the speaker Aux-in jack successfully? Thanks in advance.
Can you replace the battery if it won’t take a charge? Or say I want to swap batteries to keep going. Is this doable or is this unit trash when batteries won’t charge anymore?
Your reviews are the best. Can you do a review of PB100 vs PB300 or PB310? Cant seem to find a good descent review of these two products. Your the best thanks.
Great review. I noticed JBL update their products and release upgraded ones every 2 years. The 310 was released 2 years ago, and it looks like the old generation party boxes (unlike 110 and 710) lights and plastic bumpers. DO you think a new 300 speaker is coming out soon ? Maybe they will call it 320? Thanks
I have the 300. I was all in on Bose until my friend kept buying all those little soda can sized speakers jbl makes and blowing my color soundlink out of the water. This thing’s sound is different though. You can turn it to the max and it seems like it never gets distorted. Like it could go louder.
Have you updated to the newest 1.55.0 firmware? I’ve only had my 310 for 3 weeks and am curious what the reason/expectation was for the update…I love my 310 🔥🔥🔥
I've read your review on your website and it states 2 devices can be linked via bluetooth simultaneously so 2 people can DJ. I can not get this to work. Could you help me with this feature?
Hey bro, I just picked up a partybox 310 from my local bestbuy, but it doesn’t appear to have the 3 tweeters like yours, just the top two! What’s up JBL?
Jbl did it again!!!the 310 is a completd version of the 300..where the tweeters sound a bit muddy..they upgrade it..and made a faboulous job! I tested it against other speakers and didnt dissapointed me!!good review bro!!
I bought some professional speaker stands with these and they sound even better when elevated up off the ground and positioned directly in front of the party crowd.
That's true! I noticed that some bass presence is sacrificed when the speakers are on the stands. But at approx 50% volume while indoors with bass boost switched on they sound amazing!
Can you please review a speaker like the jbl eon one compact and compare it to the jbl partybox 310? The specs on the eon one compact show higher db rating and lower deep bass frequency id like to see if that's true and being there around the same price range I think it would be a great comparison
I was aksing myself why did they created the 310 after the 300, and not for the other ranges (100,200 & 1000) Its because the TWS doesnt work well on the 300s, i had to update the firmware to avoid a desync (delay between the 2 speakers) while playing; even wih the update after a short period of time the main speaker is way louder than the second.. iam disappointed.. do you experience same issues with the 310s ? thanks for your answer
Wanted to purchase one right the way using the link you posted, but it says “product currently unavailable”. Any idea when these are gonna be stocked up again?
I bought this speaker yesterday its great for playback music. but the problem is when I used this for videoke using Karaoke player. The bass gets sound worst. I connected this via RCA to Aux in cable. Can somebody tell me where's the problem is?
To get TWS on the 300 you have to push both BT buttons at the same time for 5s which is sucks if you are alone and the speakers are on the other side of the room. Is this the same for the 310s. THansk
I’m not sure how large your room is but I use it in my larger living room/ basement and I can feel the bass when it isn’t plugged in. When I do plug it in, it gets a touch more loud. I’ve even had noise complaints that people have just felt pure bass haha
So aside from the Echo effect, what other sound modifications can the 310 make? Thanks for making this video, I really needed some clarity and Google just isn’t helpful anymore.
Is there any way to keep it from “going to sleep” after I haven’t used it for a while? I have it plugged in but I’m paralyzed so I can’t get up to go hit the power button and it won’t pickup Bluetooth after not using it for x amount of time 😡
