can anyone in the world beat amir right now? phil wizard or ives or zooty zoot or lee maybe? i cant think of anyone that would give amir a proper run for his money. i think he might be the best in the world right now
Sure there are bboys that can compete. I would say Shigekix, Victor, Issei, Dope dog, Lee, Alkolil, and some of the new gen, like Grom, Tsukki, Isshin are coming up. Amir has definitely got the freshness and originality, and sponteneity. Sometimes his stuff doesn't hit though because it is so kinetic with a lot of flailing. Thing he can go far in BC One this year.
@@mrweasel Amir is dope. I first saw his battle against Ukrop 6 years ago and dude came a loooong way from then, I remember him not being so clean and sometimes dont hit his moves. Then I saw him again when Kazakhstan defeated Japan and I remember thinking, shit, did japan and shigekix just got smoked. Amir has original moves and it seems like he freestyles them. Like every time he does his move the way he does it or the transitions he does to get into them is always different. I love Issei but I think Amir can beat him if the music isnt one of those energetic track that he usually destroys, he also repeats sometimes. Shigekix is dope but sometimes his sets looks too repetitive or scripted and thats not a good thing battling against someone like Amir, Amir is original and has power to match shigekix. He also has a dope footwork ,power and freezes. I saw him sometimes "adjust" his style to be more classic when the music doesnt suite his style (Doing more footwork and killing the beat with power and freezes instead of being too abstract). Alkolil, if they meet in early rounds then 50/50, if they meet in the semis or finals then Amir 100 percent. Victor is also 50/50, but I lean more toward Amir. I dont think Grom, Issin or Tsukki can beat him yet. But yeah, I think it depends on the music, some bboys just go ham when certain musics are played but Amir, imo, is consistent, like I havent seen this guy drop a terrible round aside from his rounds from like 6 years ago, like if you want to beat this guy you better give it your 100 percent.
