@rock_lee_girl and also Cole has called himself the king and the greatest on a track featured with Kendrick multiple times.. y’all gonna be humble when the Fall Off Drops and I can’t wait because y’all after Control fans annoyingly makes us not even be able to appreciate Kendrick 😂🤦🏾♂️
Count me out he said "ain't nobody but the mirror looking for the fall off" Could be a bar about insecurity and self sabotage... Or no one but Cole wants Coles album. And Cole on first person shooter said "I'm naming the album the fall of its pretty ironic cause it ain't a fall off for me". They low-key been dissing each other for like 7 years now.
@@nevilrogen6381 Who knows. It does seem like a diss, but at the same time I can't really say it is because I haven't listened to that song... So truthfully, idk.. But if it was a diss, it would have aged badly
@@la_4143 nah def wasnt. I listened to the album. He refrenced something else clearly. Kendrick references the mirror which has been a key concept in the album, and also the title of the conclusive song - ‘Mirror’. Kendrick hints that the mirror is what he needs to look at to improve himself for self improvement which is a common theme throughout the album. Only you and the reflection of your actions, thoughts and image will be present when all is said and done. This relates to the first two lines of the bridge: When you was at your lowest, tell me where the hoes was at? When you was at your lowest, tell me where the bros was at?
On that same line "could be a stretch" but anyways I feel like Kendrick looks at cole as strong opponent , so the fall off feels like a selfish move on cole side for wanting to retire, like he is cutting short the competitiveness rivalry the have 😅, so there is nobody wanting him to retire but Cole himself
Being on a Metro Booming beat is a shot! He produced both Spider-Verse Soundtracks. Kendrick is saying how dare y’all play Spider-Man Meme in FPS without me. Big 3? Tobey, Andrew and Tom. Nah, just Big Me!
Right rappers been saying stepper before and after Kendrick did that lmao the only bad thing he said was the big 3 line but it was actually a good thing he said him drake and Kendrick are the big 3 but he thinks he’s the best.. as any rapper should.. and he said it on a song with drake and no one said anything about drake getting mad lol
Literally Cole was referring to most rappers claiming to be steppers. Hell even Kendrick naming the album that is a reference to street culture. Mr. "Morale" and the Big "Steppers". Double meaning and contrast.
All these sublims remind me of Nas and Biggies beef. Only the ones who were paying attention wouldve known they were battling. This sh*t going on right now is so tough bro
I really don’t think he was shooting at Cole much. The “Steppers” line was after he said something like “just know if I hit you it’ll be like I’m on your caller ID” Cole himself is almost dissing Drake about the subliminal shit.
This is all towards JCole... Don't pull no coffin out of your mouth, I'm way too paranoid for a threat (Almost like he knew he would throw a warning shot) Okay, let's get it up, it's time for him to prove that he's a problem (J Cole pretty much has never really had beef) If he walk around with that stick, it ain't André 3K Think I won't drop the location? I still got PTSD Motherfuck the big three, nigga, it's just big me (towards JCole) Like some of the harshest shit he said on the verse is towards J Cole.
@@Isma-jm4ruhe aint even get into the beef, like with lil pump. Someone has to start talking all that good good for sum to happen, n i guess it was kendrick this time 💀
@rock_lee_girl show me any bars where he dissing kdot 😂 like KDOT himself said rap is just sport any bars about yourself being great and smokijg other rappers is not sneak dissing even fps felt more like respect and kdot felt like no i deserve even more than that
Dude I know when he moaned softly into the mic that was so deep. I had to go on genius to get the annotation for it because my mortal mind couldn’t comprehend k dots genius
A lot of Americans love Kendrick coz they feel Ike he's representing their culture but my G listen Cole is all about inspiration than artistic now watch and learn... you are about to learn maths from the genius
“If you the big stepper I’m the landmine here,” is what he said on Wale’s “Poke It Out,” song. But that was before Kendrick dropped that album. So, Idk.
Its so funny when people say Cole was dissing Kendrick when he the one who had to keep puff off of him for that control verse he did. If anything the shot at Cole is unwarranted.
After saying Kendrick, himself and drake are the top three. J.Cole said he's feeling like Muhammad Ali, AKA the GOAT, and a few lines later with the spiderman meme bar Cole essentially implies that him and Drake are 1A and 1B, leaving Kendrick at #3.
Im into battle rap URL etc etc. I love the art but when I sit back its kind of funny because its literally grown men being Shakespeare battling another grown man being Shakespeare. Kendrick Drake and Lamar are great but what can they really say "im better than you?"
Crazy because i know a lot of men that debate about whos the #1 boxer, n not all them say muhamad ali the best boxer. They do however, reference ali as a legend. So maybe, he’s claiming to be in a similar predicament
Cole told dre about dot. Drake took kendrick on tour with em and put em on take care before GKMC had come out, gaining em more fans. Drake is the one of the only "HUGE" ft on GKMC. And this how dot does em 😂
Speak on it! Them Dr. Sues lines, Jermaine I wanted better for you🥱 He came harder on Tale of Two Cities. Ok, J cole ain't no innocent by standard. U sent for Bro he came for you. Mf's really want consistency from Kenny. Be careful what you Ask for. Bc if KDot drop consistently, none of your favorite rappers would eat. He is honorable if you ask me, cause he could Uncle Pennybags dis Ninjas and run that Monopoly. Y'all never make that sabbatical argument about Jay Z. Scarce resources are as valuable as they are for a reason. Kendrick gets it, Cole used to get it.. "Don't give em too much you" Legacy over numbers Any day. You really want consistency from Kenny. Legacy over numbers All day
No only did every word means something but the was he said it, the he came in, and the even the beat itself means something. Drake is done. Jcole should step back cause it’s bigger than this.
j Cole didn't diss in first person shooter he shouted them out as the big 3, meaning the 3 goats. kendrick took it for his time to shine which why he said fuck the big 3.but drake did diss
Kendrick hasn't dropped relevant music in 6 years. Mr morale was not championed by the people at all. I went to the concert people only cared about the gkmc and damn hits. Drake had put out a bunch of albums that were okay but they had quite a few hits. J cole album was not really championed either but his guest verses were crazy. So in the last 5 years it would be hard to say drake hasn't been on top just due to relevancy in the music, then Cole, then Kendrick. Anything other than that is just subjective preference.
Man I really fo like Kendrick I don’t have I enjoy Cole too but damn Kendrick can say anything and people add all can of special meaning to it. All he said was the big 3 line which was meh if I’m not a drake fan so this isn’t to defend him but if drake says that same big 3 line yall would call it corny
