No word needed, son. Stevie Wonder put out 4 of the best albums ever heard during the 70s. We got graced with Marvin Gaye's What's Going On. It was the very beginning of the genius called Prince, who took his genius into the 70s and beyond. The funky clothes were on a new level. In spite of attempts to change the game, the 90s gave us the Spice Girls (why??), and Beanie babies. It offered nothing close to what the 70s did. The 70s were an existential shift that America needed to recognize.
What I like about this scene is how they both let the chemistry flow. They liked what they saw, and spoke from the gut, without too much reservation. And their was an element of purity to it. Like puppy love.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE! Glynn Turman turns in an incredible performance in a role that could have turned out really cheesy given to a lesser talented actor.
JD's Revenge was probably one of the top 5 all-time best of the 70s blaxploitation movies. I was just a kid when I saw it back in 76. It was so popular, it stayed at the theater for close to 2 months.
Typical low production Blaxploitation film of the 70's, but a pretty good story and Glynn Turman's acting makes it well worth the watch. The late Lou Gossett also appears in the movie.
bagley232 Mack music! Lol Imma find it tho. Unless it was some shit that was created for the film... Then we fucked. Got a couple of tracks like that i been lookin for all my life...
JD was old OLD school. He would have been stabbing Italian greaseballs at least in the early 1930s. JD probably forgot more bad things he did, than these young killas will ever learn in their whole life!
This wasn't bad acting but superb acting, he was being possioned by a 1940 pimp called J.D. Walker. See the whole movie before judging his acting ability. He played Preach in the movie Cooley High. He was one of the best Blsck actors of the Seventies! Enough said.
BLACK WOMEN: "THAT WAS THE BEST FUCKIN I EVER HAD." ISSAC: "THAT'S WHY YOU BEEN DEALING WITH THE ACE." BLACK WOMEN: "YOU GOT TO LEAVE? WHERE YOU GOING SUGAR?" ISSAC: GOT BUSINESS TO TAKE CARE OF." BLACK WOMEN: THAT'S MY OLD MAN, SHIT." ISSAC: "YOU BETTER GO TALK TO HIM." Which was turn into a song titled WILDFLOWER off GHOSTFACE KILLA classic album IRONMAN. ISSAC was the Black Communities JOKER 🃏 that should get recognized like the White JOKERS
