This was a single by her husband, Hawkshaw Hawkins in 1963. R.I.P. Jean Shephard. A very sweet lady. A great pleasure to hear your music thru the years.

I've never heard that song before, and I'm so glad that I'm hearing Jean sing it. She was always the best. Love her.

That song was a big hit for her husband Hacksaw Hawkins just before he passed away in the plane with Patsy Cline and the others

I Tried out for guitar in 1979 in this pure class ladies band! Didn't make it lol. Did however get to sing on the Earnest Tubb show later on though and was on the Ralph Emery show several times! Drugs were not a sickness, they were a choice and ended it all, instantly.
