Jeanette's three Fox films were considered to be "lost" until the mid 1970s, when this print was found and transferred to 16mm from nitrate. This film has poor visual quality and shows nitrate damage including flickering mid film and lost soundtrack at one point. It's also missing a 10-minute reel in the middle of the film. Nevertheless, Jeanette is wonderful in it, a forerunner of her opera diva in "Rose Marie." Co-star is Reginald Denny and the plot is rather farfetched, an opera singer falling in love with a burglar. Whatever... A pre-Dracula Bela Lugosi plays her manager and Allison Skipworth co-stars as well. It's a rare treasure!
