I just want to say it's really awesome to see you uploading videos of the combat! It's so impressive to see one of the designers show off how masterful the combat is. I cannot wait to see what you will be working on next! Thanks for helping to make the most fun Star Wars game I have ever played.
This is pretty close to what I've always imagined an actual fight between a Jedi and a Sith (or Inquisitor) would look like. A lot closer than all movie fights with their drama and their unnecessary explosions and all. It isn't often that creators get what a good fight really looks like; that it is only about timing and the depiction of skilful body movements and that the fight is all the better the purer it is. Thank you!
Instead of throwing your lightsaber, I my self used the force to pull him right after you hit him. Immediately attack after pull and you'll be able to get another free hit. So after every dodge-kick-attack combo, another pull-hit. I find this even more effective! Great video! =)
Right. I almost didnt parry a thing, unlike you. Only used dodge kick. Guess I've to try and learn the parry run as well, cause it looks fancy, thats for sure!
Mr. Game Designer Sir, you can overhead slash to deal the max amount of damage after one kick. And with the amount of dodging that you're already doing, you'll just gain force back.
The only problem I’m having is the Precision Evade. I can’t self-consciously not touched the analog stick when pressing the evade. I’d played way too many games that gave bonus when evade at the right moment regardless of touching the analog stick.
any tips on the meditation arena challenge? I cant even get past wave 5, let alone beat it without getting hit. you're a master, I'm loving the uploads
@@Nate4Life01 for 4th wave use big push on all of them and then kill jotaz with double-blade split attack. for 5th you can push small spiders to the wall and kill them
Awesome man, I just started the game and the combat feels so nice ! Quick question though : why are you relying more on dodge than parry ? I thought parrying with the right timing was efficient to break the ennemie’s guard :o
@@ethanbrown4167 really cause I don't how one can do that fancy jump roll and it sends a wave through the ground. I know Cal has a shockwave move but its range isn't as strong as Inquisitor Cal
