I propose an amendment to the name. It shall hereby be henceforth called 'Skywalk'. As for it does not take place on land, it does not take place on sand.
This is honestly insane. The fact that a game that took me 15-20 hours to beat can now be beaten in less than 30 minutes is just insane to me. I love the speedrunning community. Their dedication is admirable
@@simaopinto8521 No shit! Glad you filled me in! Some people like the level & would like the option to play it again without going through the whole game funny man. BTW, the base isn’t destroyed, you may want to at least read up on the Kenobi show & know what you’re talking about before laughing at someone “bruh” not that any of that dumb shit matters if you’ve got an option to play a level over! Bruh! 😂😂🙄🙄
It's a shame they never made it replayable with the updates. At least there are not any collectibles in the base, and the if you miss the scans they just give them to you after the fact. Also at least they now allow you to travel to every place you visit again in Jedi Survivor, even if it's super linear like Nur is. (They also mention the base still stands and is operational in Survivor as well)
@@simaopinto8521 even it were destroyed they could add an option to replay the level. You know games have repayable levels right? You destroy a halo at the end of Halo and Halo 3 but you can still go back and play those final levels. Insane concept, I know.
@simao pinto you seem awfully upset over nothing. Hope you get better

Planet Fusion might be the most hilarious yet incredibly useful achievement I've seen in the speedrun community overall, at least for a while. These speedruners are so much fun, man.
I just wanted to put this here, the original video that this is the update to was my introduction to this channel and I've rewatched it and many others simply because of the passion and quality you put into your work, I didn't appreciate star wars as much as I do until I watched your content. Thank you Binks!
I wonder if the inconsistency of the run has something to do with memory manipulation. Planet Fusion triggering a skip SOUNDS like some flag getting set by geometry colliding when it shouldn't. Maybe the abandoned village pathing triggers some load zone that, through a Rube Goldberg machine of geometry crashing into trigger volumes, unlocks the skip.
I just love the fact that speedrunners found a way to skip one of the most crucial parts of Star Wars history. "My lord, the little ginger Jedi just skipped order 66." "He did WHAT NOW?" "He... skipped order 66." "How the f*ck does that even work?"
Using these glitches without having understanding of all the mechanics of this game... god this games loading zones are so creative, but makes skipping things SO confusing lol
Overall I'm very optimistic about the quality of the game as a whole. I can already tell that most of my biggest gripes with Fallen Order's combat haven't been addressed, but the rest of the game looks like they've completely addressed most of the criticism, including mine. That said, I can also tell that they've shown us basically nothing - Koboh, Coruscant, the Shattered Moon base and a third planet we don't know the name of yet (I think it's probably Elphrona), so there are at least 3 more entire planets that we know nothing about, and we still haven't seen the blaster combat style. There's a lot of room in what we haven't seen for disappointment, but if it's the same quality as what we have seen I think this is going to be one of the best Star Wars games ever made and a GOTY contender.
@@oXRaptorzXo I’ve heard the Jedha theory. A few reasons I’m suspect. 1) with the Empire actively strip mining the planet and the Temple it seems like a place that wouldn’t be very smart to visit. 2) the sandstorm looks very red, like there are iron oxides in the sand, similar to why Mars is the color it is, and that’d be consistent with Elphrona’s description as a rocky, metal rich world with rust storms. 3) Elphrona was the location of a Jedi outpost during the High Republic, which ties in with the High Republic themes they’re using. 4) Elphrona is the site of a Jedi archive that is later visited/rediscovered by Luke Skywalker, Ben Solo, and Lor San Tekka. This might be the room with the archives we’ve seen Cere in.
@@ThePresidentofMars the posture and death blow system looks like it’s mostly the same from Fallen Order when there’s a better version of it in Sekiro that they could’ve just stolen. That’s my biggest criticism of the combat.
I'm guessing Nur only appears because the planet fusion is tricking the game into thinking that you're on both Dathomir and Zeffo at the same time so it needs another planet to be available to you, so obviously it chooses one of the three planets you can't go back to because they are the only choices as you have to get Kashyyyk in the tomb. And since Bracca is never on the holomap for obvious reasons, and you're not MEANT to be able to travel to Ordo Eris via the Mantis (if you skip the story bounty hunters then it appears on the holotable after Ilum but really it's just a completely black environment with a save point in the distance and you can't even move), it chooses Nur. But it depends on the path you take through the unloaded Abandoned Village because if you go too slowly the game has time to correct itself. That's my guess anyway.
I remember following another channel that speedran this game, he held the record a few times and made a Doom speedrunning video that blew up and got over a million views. I praise anyone willing to speedrun this game and its unskippable cutscenes
Alex Esposito was an early runner of this game that moved on to Doom afterward. He’s featured heavily in the original video I linked in the description
@@binksmagnus Yeah! That was the name, I had it on the tip of my tongue earlier but I wasn't sure. His tutorials on the JFO glitches were really interesting to learn, I could never speed run the game, but I was able to get so many extra experiences out of it by dicking around with Speedrun glitches and shortcuts
When the game launched there was no option to disable QTE inputs, so Cal stabbing Vader required an input from the player and was the final button press before credits, so it made sense to stop the timer there. Later when the option to disable QTE inputs was added the timing rules weren’t changed.
This planet fusion glitch seems cool. Wish something similar could be done on God of War Ragnarok. Always been curious what would happen if you went to Asgard post-game.
Tip for making good videos: I already knew your name when I clicked on the video, you don't have to tell me it again. It's kind of annoying and feels like I wasted the first 5 seconds of the video. Okay take it easy brother, peace.
Could there be a spawn in the unloaded abandoned village that normally spawns after you unlock Nur and it's flag loading causes Nur to unlock because it loading means that Nur should be unlocked?
I have a question. Why do you even land on the planet to do the glitch? First time boarding the mantis you are in space right? Did anyone ever tried that glitch there?
You have to be able to interact with the Galaxy Map, and you can’t do that until you unlock Zeffo. We could theoretically do it on Bogano, if we knew of a set up and were able to get around loading triggers. But the way Bogano is built we can’t really move around out of bounds without falling and voiding.
Runs like these are a real good entrance to speedrunning. I'd often refer to them as 'party tricks' as it's not fun to grind them, but so nice to have at hand if you got a speedrun itch or just want to show off a bit in front of an audience.
Aha! "But if you've seen my channel, let's be honest, you've seen that video" He never realized youtube might make this video yet ANOTHER video that draws in a bunch of off-channel viewers! Man i guess you should just turn into a jedi fallen order speedrunning overview channel, apparently the algorithm is eating that shit up lol, because I got recommended this video totally out of left field amongst my more normal recommendeds of programming tutorials, reddit aggregator clickbaiters, falseswipegaming-esque pokemon video essays, and network security cert exam study guides
big iron glitch is such a good name lmfao. but man, kinda feels like a shame this was only discovered shortly before jedi survivor came out. 30-60 min speedruns are some of the easiest to get into, but obviously everyone's gonna want to play survivor now so fallen order probably won't have much interest
Just a bit of feed back man I wanted to let you know I absolutely hated this video it's done nothing to help me with my taxes and I still don't know how to fill out a form 58 anyway dope work man, great upload and can I say it was so nice to see you and Jennefer for dinner last night that joke you told about eggs and swan feathers was as hilarious as it was dirty. Hope the bung knee isn't giving you too much trouble and say hi to to old Gerty for me
I wish u could skip parts after beating it to reach certain parts and after finishing one story to the end u can keep the stuff u had and skills in the next play through not just skins
From what I understood from the video, there is a glitch that super fast-forwards all cutscenes. And the game is very cutscene-heavy especially at the beginning.
@@MyChannel-cw7rs Not sure what you mean but all I'm saying is if it's a contest based on beating the game as fast as possible then using glitches (cheating) should surely invalidate the whole thing. If not then what's the point? On the same basis mods could be used to achieve the same things as the glitches and more, or a 100% save game could be downloaded and loaded in minutes. All of the above is cheating, at which point does the line get drawn? The only 'valid' speed runs are the ones without any form of cheating, including glitches, mods etc.
@@tomburnham6640 bro, you clearly don't know shit about speedrunning. The main category of Fallen Order is Any% Glitched, wich means beat the game asap by using glitches. Also using glitches isn't cheating because you don't use 3rd party programms and you don't change your in-game files. You only use what the game gives you
I love these games too much to speed run, but I appreciate these because it helps push limits, help devs(if they can patch it) and shows me people are crazy finding this stuff out. They'll do anything and not be satisfied until the boot screen is the end screen
This glitch reminds me of Galaxy Droid in KOTOR, does the glitch allow travel to ANY planet, not just Nur? Because if so you may have found a debug state
Playing Jedi Survivor for a bit I was like "this doesn't look that much better than Fallen Order". But man seeing the Fallen Order footage now, OOF. It still looks great, but it's definitely of its era. Even with all the FSR smearing and at medium settings, Survivor is VASTLY improved visually.
Working on a full game review, boss and combat stance rankings, and a speedrun breakdown. Will take a minute as I’m out of town next week but after that the videos should come fairly quickly.
Eh. Let me know when this games at sub 10 like dark souls. Then it’ll actually be considered insane. 45 minutes is a substantial amount shorter then the base game played through properly, but it doesn’t compare to a lot of other speed run categories and games.
I'll be honest. These are interesting and cool, but watching someone speed run a game glitchless while just dominating the game mechanics is so much more satisfying to me.
"It's truly a sign that we're ready for a sequel when a game becomes so completely busted that it can be completed in potentionally under a half an hour" It feels like you were talking about games in general. Not about Fallen Order specifically. Nevertheless, this is a great video, I'm glad I watched it to the end. This is the only thing I didn't like. The problem is, you said it in the first 20 seconds. Right at the end of the attention span of the average viewer.
