Ranking the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Bosses from Easiest to Hardest 

This video reached a broader audience than I anticipated, so if you're new, welcome! Since the a portion of the comment section decided for me that I both: a) lied and played on "Story Mode", and b) should've played on "Jedi Grandmaster," I'd like to elaborate on my difficulty choice. When I rank bosses in games with difficulty settings, I always go with whatever "Normal" is. I see that as the developer-intended experience for most players. For that reason, I feel it is the best baseline for a video that will reach thousands, or in this case, over a million. For Fallen Order, that was "Jedi Master." If on the normal difficulty, I find bosses to be easier than normal, that's worth mentioning. I rank bosses from tons of games. Over time playing these games on normal gives me standardized context for how hard bosses tend to be for me in gaming as whole. In Fallen Order, they were a lot easier than most games I've played. Of course they become more challenging on the hard difficulty. That's the point, but it isn't the baseline I used. If you found the difficulty of the bosses to be average or very challenging, there's nothing wrong with that. Your experience isn't invalidated by my own, and I'm no better than you for dying less to a boss in a video game. These videos are intended for entertainment and to share our collective experiences. I know I learned plenty from you: I drastically underutilized the force (pushing missiles for example), I had no idea about the bounty hunters being randomized (that's a neat design feature), and Oggdo Bogdo clearly claimed more victims than I could've ever imagined. Thank you to those of you who shared your experiences with me, and the majority who simply enjoyed the video for what I wanted it to be: entertainment.

Oggdo Boggdo was the hardest boss in the game, only because every single one of us idiots insisted on killing him within 10 minutes of landing on the planet.

*Boss music starts playing* "I got this." *The boss doesn't have a health bar* "I don't got this."

The Darth Vader scene in this game has got to be one of the most memorable Vader moments for me. None of the movies, except maybe rogue one, show how ridiculously overpowered Vader is, and it just shows in the game that anything you try to do against him is meaningless

The AT-ST fight becomes more interesting when you realize you can force push the missiles back at it as well as pick up the grenades with the force and send them back. I also like the detail of the pilot climbing out after it's destroyed.

Imagine training all your life to become the greatest lightsaber duelist just to be outclassed by an obese frog

Hm, a frog with a health bar shouldn’t be to hard *1 hr later* Ogdo Bogdo I’ve come to bargain

You know the boss fight is unwinnable when the boss doesnt even get a health bar

Fun story, I didn't even know I was in a boss fight when Flatakk and Pango showed up. I had randomly loaded a big force push and they both went over the edge with no damage. Even got the force push trophy from it.

The hardest bosses are any purge trooper that comes with a large group

I found that I had a lot more trouble with Malicos and the giant bat than I did the Ninth Sister. She was tough but her moves were extremely predictable and slow. The giant Bat had a massive hitbox and would fill up enough of the arena to make moving around awkward. Malicos also had some erratic moves that would be VERY difficult to block or parry and his unique moves like the ranged attacks were hard to adapt to, especially with how small the arena was. Just my experience though I guess.

personally, I’d say the ninth sister is one of the easiest fights. the attacks are slow and really easy to parry(in my opinion) and if you get the skill with stims refilling your full force bar, you can spam triangle and just rip through her defense

I wonder if inquisitor cal is considered a boss, also I find it interesting odd that albino wysokko was placed higher then the rapid Jotaz, I feel like the albino is a really easy boss. Just know the timing of the unblockable and parry the bites

The bosses I had the most trouble with were oggdo boggdo, taron malicos, and trilla at the end. It got so difficult for the last two I switched to story mode and then switched back after the fights

Who else hated when Trilla would do that stupid ground force unblockable out of no where

Kind of a shame to learn that the bounty hunter types and names are random. One of my favorite memories is being ambushed, called pathetic, and getting kidnapped by a droid named Chonk.

Love the fact they put Vader in there. Pure terror mode for me when I saw trillas face shift. I just knew what was coming. Solid Moment.

The thing I love most about Taron Malicos is he is Spartacus. I instantly recognized his voice, the dual sabers, the emphasis on parrying, even his aesthetic. I loved it so much. I know the show wasn't super popular cause of the network, but I loved it.

After dying 9 times I beat Trilla with so low of health that if she tapped me I would’ve died. Then I heard Darth Vader and almost cried cause I was so low.

I love the fact that your character can't even fight darth vader and has to run away, even his description says running is the only option 🤣

Gotta love how much of an impact NKG had when you use his theme music for Vader, the classic “unbeatable boss”.

Going through this game without realizing that parrying is the intended best practice makes it another beast entirely. I got through almost the entire game before realizing that I wasn't meant to be dodging and jumping in and out of combat, and it made the last few bosses so much easier than what I'd been doing.

Me throughout most of the game: "Wow, this is a legitimately really cool action game, and I'm having fun" Me in the last 10 minutes with Vader: *current objective: SURVIVE*

"Malicos only took 2 tries" Me having a seizure over my 28th try

Alot of these bosses are actually quite easy when you realize that the dual lightsaber deflects all blaster botls simultaneously and you can force push unblockable attacks

Love how you used the Pontiff Sulyvhan OST from DS3 for talking about Taron Malicos - two duel wielding bosses that are a good level of difficulty!

I love how they introduce the security droid as a boss but when you go to ilum you fight like 10 of them

After defeating Trilla for the final time: I AM THE MASTER OF THE FORCE!!! *Hears Respirator* NVM, I AM NOTHING. RUN.

Taron was hands down my most difficult experience. It took me over an hour. However, I played on the hardest difficulty only.

This game was extremely frustrating at times, for example getting lost during a mission or confused on a puzzle. But once you got most of the skill tree upgraded and a better understanding of the game I began to love it.

Who else felt that the security droid was chasing u at sonic speed

Quick Tip that I forgot for a longtime. You can replenish force by perfect dodging. The window is surprisingly forgiving and you can get a ton back from the combos of the sisters. So even if you have no canisters, just dodge and you'll have force in no time

It's always interesting what bosses some people struggle with and others don't. Ninth sister was a push over for me. I healed once the entire fight and didn't die once. Taron on the other hand was my hardest fight with second sister coming up real close on the amount of deaths

I love the fact that after dying once against the story bosses, you automatically skip the cutscenes. Every boss focused game needs to do something similar.

Okay Nightmare King Grimm music in the Vader section was perfect!

I like how the Pontiff theme played when he showcased Taron Malicos.

Me: *finally defeats trilla* *Vader breathing* Me: *immediately searching for high ground in fear of my own real life*

You know the Boss is on a next level when Vader doesn’t even have a Health Bar 😂

I found the ninth sister to be a massive brick wall in my playthrough. She smacked me down probably 20 times. Final boss didn't take me long at all, but maybe I was just better at the game by that point.

Another trick against the nydaks is the parry three times in a row. Doing so allows Cal to do an “execution” animation that one shots them

Hardest boss in the game: electrobaton purge troopers in an area where force push does nothing

When you hack the security droid and make them fight each other *Your game mode has been updated to Spectator Mode*

Me and my dad played this game together when it came out and had both never played a game with its combat style before so its fun hearing how easy most of these bosses where for you. While also remembering all the times they constantly gave me and my dad some trouble.

The Albino Wyyyschokk is by far the easiest boss in the game since you can kill it without landing a single hit. As soon as the fight starts, run into the water next to you and swim to the end of the passage, and then the spider will jump in after you and drown instantly.

Does anyone here feel like '9th Sister' was a walk in the park compared to 'Taron Malicos'?🤔 EDIT: OMG chill out, I posted this back in November and on my fourth play through on jedi master and beat Malicos on my third attempt, compared like thirteen tries on my first play through on jedi knight. I admit I'm not a perfect gamer, but I'm not terrible.

Easy: Every Boss in the game beside... Hard: Oggdo Bogdo

The 9th Sister was easily my fave boss. It was such a fun fight that I restarted it multiple times.

I'm currently stuck on Ninth Sister. It's good to see that she's one of the hardest bosses. Don't feel quite as bad.

1:04 Depending on the route you took after escaping the Tomb of Miktril where you get force pull, you can get one of 3 bounty hunters, I in my first and current playthrough got the robot one.

Defeats Trilla: god now I finally rest, now I can say that after 100 hours I beat the game on the hardest difficulty. *hears breathing* Me: turns off ps4 and throws the TV out the window.

9:08 They meant Force Pull, which you unlock much later in the game. I also fought Oggdo Bogdo really early. Found him before even finding a regular Oggdo, in fact. Kinda crazy that they even allow that to happen lol.

i played this on "Jedi Grand Master" and let me tell you this list looked a whole lot diffrent

Fun fact about the AT-ST you can use your force push and push the missles and shock grades back at it making it take more damage

The bounty hunter that captures you for the prison sequence is randomized.

Funny story, on the train at the start of the game with the wheel spinning that you had to climb on, I never knew what to do until 2 weeks ago which before that I gave up for 3 years. I finally finished the game!

Oggdo was the hardest for me. Same reason you stated, I fought him on the first visit so I was still figuring out mechanics and had no upgrades at all.

It would have been more realistic to have Oggdo as the final boss instead of Vader. In fact, that would alter the ending.

Dude you keep talking about how “easy” and “pathetic” these bosses are but the gameplay shows you didn’t handle them as easily as you’d like us to believe

The first boss u mentioned,I don’t remember facing the bounty hunter.I used the shortcut heading back to the mantis and was intercepted by a droid or robot ,which is definitely much more powerful than the bounty hunter.just like the second visit to the wookie planet , i encounter the ambushers on the way down to the tree instead of facing them on my way back ,if you play as a hoarder and do alot of back tracking it actually unlocks some of these unpredictable perks

Ninth sister: GET OUT OF MY SWAMP

I love Malicos for one reason, unless he's doing certain combos, he will almost always try to block your strikes. He felt like an actual fight because like a real person he would frequently try to stay alive instead of going for a killing blow

Something I didnt see you mention at all is that if you have multiple laser blasters firing at you at the same time you can deflect and rebound consecutive blaster shots by just holding down the deflect, or by rapid spam

9:02 same that toad can one shot you at the highest difficulty level, but then I realized that you can preform a stealth strike on top of him to remove half of his healthbar, then the difficulty dropped dramatically

About the bounty hunters There are actually several of them so the one that catches you is the one you fight when you get captured

I had the misfortune of stumbling across the Oggdo Bogdo when I had just started. Thirty tries later I realised I could just leave. Came back and killed it once I had finished the game. Revenge is sweet.

I love how effortlessly Vader pushes aside Cere just that lil hand motion had me laughn😂

i had to fight taron malicos with 2 stim upgrades and basically alot of other bosses too with only 2 stims.. how do you think i feel after realising yu can get more stims..

I feel like everyone gets a different Bounty Hunter who captures you. I was captured by a Bounty Droid (Same type as Clunk) in the Ice Caves who was named Murdie.

Honestly I think Malicos is a really cool boss because of his attacks. You can tell he's been on Dathomir for a while because he's super aggressive and even has an attack identical to one the nydak use.

i found that the boss fights (melicos ,ninth sister ) its best to use force push when they are charging u . it will interrupt the attack and give u time so u can get a few hit , best affective when they are doing unlockable (red ) attck if u can time them , it gives u a more open window with the enemy at very low guard : for most effect have ur special attack power up ready and use it with duel saber to get good hits ;

To be fair, the Security Droid “boss” fight was more of a fakeout boss, in that it became a common enemy later on.

*SPOILERS* *SPOILERS* *SPOLIERS* When the Dead Nightsisters started popping up along the way to the Mantis and I couldn't use my lightsaber, I went from Cal Kestis to Barry Allen

When gorgara does the attack when she shoves her wing down, you're meant to attack until she recoiled away, she will then do the same thing with the other wing. When you've finished attacking the other wing. You can force pull her down, where you can critical attack the head. Not sure if you did this but I just wanted to mention it

Mentioning slow for trilla was super interesting cause I didn’t even think about that, I was just focused on getting the parries right and attacking in the openings. Maybe it would have been easier for me if I used the force outside pulling in the hovering droid to hack it 😂
