I began making Combo videos for Vader and Starkiller and noticed that their combo potential was huge! So I planned to make also a video for Yoda but I doubt that it would be fun since he was considered to be a bad character... fortunately that was not the case! While his combos are shorter, they look amazing. Also he is more of a mix up character so I took advantage of that especially in the last combo level. Furthermore he is in general a misunderstood character, maybe I'll make a seperate video about how strong he is simply by breaking the core game mechanics. Can we all agree as cool as it is to have Yoda in a fighting game, he was insanely cheap. Fun! But cheap lol.

Yes since fighting games are partially rock paper and scissors, he breaks the game by disabling one option. Fighting him online was very annoying 😅 but fast characters with high range were good counter picks

It makes me sad that IV was kind've the black sheep of the franchise, and the core audience didn't really understand or care why Star Wars characters were there. They were the most fun to play in the whole game, and made me really want just a full on Star Wars Fighting game like it.

That would be amazing! I still hope that it will happen someday... True, especially Vader was extremely cool because of his infinite (power) potential using the force in combos and gameplay in general

@@KampfspieleTV Even Yoda had very clear weaknesses. Even though he was small, almost all of his important moves were airborne and slow as hell.

@@mikealangeloy yes and hes one of the Most interesting chars in Fighting Games imo since He Breaks the Game By removing throws... So balancing is extremely difficult either OP or Trash, the devs went for the save Option and Made him difficult to use. I still think that If He ist played correctly its possible to be very good with him. I'm curious how Things would go If I used him online with my current understanding of the character. I think He is a defence Powerhouse and at the Same time a Vortex Like char... I'll eventually make a Video about him sometime

@@anonymousanonymous7600 They did a good job with the series, especially Mando IMO. However I deny the existence of the sequels... There was some potential & some good scenes but yeah. A huge disappointment

For ps3 you get darth Vader at the start and you unlock the apprentice by beating arcade mode with darth Vader and for yoda he’s dlc but I don’t think you can get him anymore because they lost the license for Star Wars.

You can also buy the game and maybe there's a way using a ps3 emulator like pcsx3

At least at launch you could pay 5$ on both xbox and ps3 to get the character from the other console. (Even though in my opinion five dollars is a lot of money for one character in a fighting game.)

@@ElfHostage I played this 1st on Xbox too... Hurt a lot when I met a Vader player online back in the days :/
