We head to ‪@OverlandBound‬ Expo Mountain West and along the way, we stopped by and knocked out a @jeepbadgeofhonor trail. Ophir Pass near Silverton, Colorado. Embedded in the San Juan National Forest, Ophir Pass stands at 11,789 feet. Ophir Pass is rated as a Moderately difficult trail. Roughly 10 miles of trail, the West side of the pass is the more challenging of the two passes. Subscribe and Enjoy.

That's awesome. Curious, how was the weather in July? I def want to go back and tackle from the North side side first and of course, a few other BoH trails that I didn't get to do when I was there.

@@thetrailaheadofus weather was great but even at the end of July some of the trails were still closed due to snow.we had planned on doing black bear but it was closed.

Not a fan of music on any videos. (Except music videos). But your choice of soundtrack on this one wasn’t bad. The video was really nice overall. Thank you for making it.

I appreciate your input. I always struggle with what type of music, how loud and what vibe I’m going for. Also don’t like the sound of my own voice. lol It’s a real struggle. lol 👍🏻

Great video, but you need to drop the generic sound track. It is just annoying. So many people do this. I just end up turning off the sound.

I appreciate the honesty. As I continue to learn with each video, it's good to hear from others and what their take is. It's difficult because I listen to so many tracks before making picks and this felt good. Sorry it bugged you but appreciate the feedback.

I will say, the one thing I need to do, is go back after a month or so and watch my videos. See what I still like and/or don't like. Your comment is a good reason to start doing this. Not that I can change anything, but hopefully it will help improve each upload. Thanks again, have a great weekend!

I understand the frustration and unfortunately, I was having major issues with brake failure on that trail, then add in my very real fear of heights... I forced myself to shoot any video at all. For what it's worth, my brand new TeraFlex Brake Kit brakes gave out twice on the pass. I am sorry, because I know the importance of having narration and I almost didn't post for that reason.
