Manufactured in India for the world (right-hand drive markets), the Compass boasts of high-tech manufacturing processes and off-road capability. To be priced under Rs. 25 lakhs for the top-end model, the Jeep Compass rivals the Hyundai Tucson in the Indian market.
The Jeep Compass is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine which returns a mileage of 12-14 km/l. It will also be available with a diesel automatic and a 1.4-litre MultiAir engine. The SUV rides on Fiat's 500X platform that also underpins the Renegade.

Hi Faisal. I was waiting for compass since a long time. Had a test drive today. Really nice SUV. It misses a few features that should be standard at this price & standard. Still a nice car. I'm waiting for new Octavia then will make a choice out of the two. The latter being loaded with so many features. Thanks for the nice video. Keep posting.

I have to say that the cinematography is definitely improved than previous videos. Just a bit work on background music is still needed. But overall a very nicely detailed review.

Sreekanth K the 20 multijet and adaptive shocks are enought to buy this for those want to drive . Baby's play with touch screen , sunroof, for india sunroof is not that practical. With 15 lack you get best in class engine, ride, comfort,safety, and what else do you need in a car. The gc is a loaded measure and thanks to the aproch angle ... Those have owned a fiat family can understand these because others don t give what a car should really do.

Nice review... Jeep Compass has already clocked over 10000 bookings which goes to show it's success in Indian market. It is definitely going to give Creta, Duster, XUV 500, Tiguan & Tuson some sleepless nights... They better re consider their pricing as the competition is getting fierce...

Indian Superman we want FCA in India, if we disappoints them in JEEP too 😷, their presence will be limited to supplying Engines, they make really good cars. Even if we don't see Dodge, atleast FIAT TIPO, ARGO, PANDA, Aegea etc and a sub 10 Lakh JEEP can be surely expected.

Hi, Jeep is not offering features that are available in Australian spec model and other right hand driving countries such as blind spot monitoring system, big infotainment display with inbuilt navigation, sunroof, 9 speaker beats audio system, diesel automatic transmission (not the trail hawk) and many more. Is jeep planning to launch new updated compass with these features in any time soon?

Hope so base models will be bellow 15L. Currently, SUVs attract an overall incidence of above 50 percent, which would come down to 43 percent (GST of 28 per cent and cess of 15 per cent) after GST kicks in. With local production of Compass, Jeep may able to price the compact SUV very competitively at less than Rs 15 lakh Ex-showroom....!

I am planning to buy Jeep Compass but confused with their variants . I'm looking out for automatic transmission and jeep offers it currently in pertrol only . Shall I wait for there diesel at variants . If no then what are the review of 1.4 limited AT in performance and which is better 1.4 limited o at or 1.4 limited at ?? Or shall I hike up my budget for 4wd , but I'm not much of a off roader

Diesel AT will come next year, don't buy 4WD if you don't need it.

Rishabh Pendurkar pls go to a dealer about doubt mentioned. 1.4 LTR turbo petrol will be good similar to diesel in case of speeding. Both are excellent ones, Tata has used Fiat's petrol for vista . Even after you buy it pls don't edit or modify with unauthorised aftermarket stuff. Pls do even wheel alignment at authorised dealership only, it will last well than anyone for decades. Pls be careful about the pressure and don't over fill more than 1 or 2 psi. You will experience Marvel of engineering.

tell me one thing, why no car has adjustable rear seats. My problem is that I rarely go for a long drive ( i.e. say more than 200 kms). Regularly I have to use the car in the city .Therefore I have no use of big dicky ...bootspace .If cars have adjustable rear seats , atleast we can have spacious rear seats when we like and which we all need. Sadly and strangely no car company provide us with adjustable rear seats to make the rear seats more spacious as per our needs.
