My friends at Rebel Off Road hooked me up with a set of KC HiLiTEST Flex Era 4 lights. These lights are amazing. Between these and the KC Pro6 LED light bar, the light is blinding. I think you could get a tan in front of these lights.
Jacob at Rebel helped me tighten them down because I forgot my wrenches. I tried the cheap stuff on Amazon, and there is a world of difference. KC quality is hard to beat.

Bro, looks awesome! I may upgrade my Flex 3 to the 4s!

Thanks. I pre-ran the wiring when I put on the KC light bar brackets. I believe the Flex Era 4 use the same harness. I was going to go with the Flex Era 3, but they were a little smaller than I wanted, so I waited for the 4s to come out...love them. I can see through time with these lights.

I wouldn’t have made them redo the install with the connectors the way the are. Looks sloppy but that’s expected from rebel offroad 🤷‍♂️

Looks nice, but I agree I'd like to have a switching option where the lights cycle between "OFF-Amber-Full" with tapping into the existing wiring Jeep aux connectors. I already have the Pro6 installed. I would use a separate AUX to run these as "running" lights on my factory Rubicon bumper.

Well, you can always tap into your marker lights on the white wire, so just the amber backlight comes on when your lights come on. That would look cool. I'm going to do the wiring for the backlight this weekend and do another video.

@@SoCalJeepGladiator I can’t wait to see this video! I’m purchasing a pair now and would like to know how you do that. Great set up by the way.

@@mikewill9255 thanks. I've been slacking on getting the amber backlight wired in. I'm installing a new poison spyder crawler bumper this Saturday. Maybe I can do it then

Are your KC flex ERA 4’s on switches 1 or 2? Or 3/4?

Sorry for the delay, I didn’t get an alert. I put mine on 3. The 15amp. My KC light bar needs the 40 amp circuit and suntan lotion lol

Just wondering why you didn’t put the Deutche connector under the cowl.
@SoCalJeepGladiator
@SoCalJeepGladiator 2 года назад
Thanks for responding. Do you mean why I put the connector under the hood and not the cowl? If that's what you are asking, I wanted to keep as much wiring from under the cowl as possible. Neater wire run. Just the way my OCD works, lol

The KC HiLiTEST Flex Era 4 draw 6.7 amps per light. Side the note the built in amber running light per KC should not be on with the main lamps are on.

How’s the glare on the hood? I’m looking at the KC flex Era 3 for my a pillar for side light driving on back country roads.

Hi, thanks for commenting. I don't really notice. I'm sure there is some, but since I don't have a memory of saying, man these things glare off my hood, I would say it is minimal. They are a good combo light so knowing KC, they planned for that and the more long range LED are by the hood to reduce glare. The Flex Era 4s are out too.

I was wondering if you could show step by step wiring to the aux because it is a 3 way harness and did you end up running the white wire for the backlight to the running lights?
@SoCalJeepGladiator
@SoCalJeepGladiator 3 года назад
Sure. I'll post something tomorrow or Monday. I basically cut off the relays from the harness and used a terminal block from Amazon to attach the #1 aux input to 2 outputs for the Flex Era 4 lights, then took the white wire for the amber backlight and hooked those to my grill running lights. I'm uploading a video now showing the backlights. See your notifications on for my channel and you'll see them in action. I'll post about the wiring in a day or 2

Hi Andres. I just posted a little more detail on wiring to the aux panel. Check it out and comment if you have any questions. Glad to help more.
