See Step By Step How To Replace A Headlight Bulb On A Jeep Grand Cherokee@dairleautoclassicrestorati6892 #headlights #headlightbulbs#jeepgrandcherokee
Thank you for making this video, it was very helpful. I appreciate the raw video footage, it's honestly refreshing. No fuss, no muss, just a real person helping others and working with what they have.
I say the same thing. I swear they don’t want us doing things ourselves, but instead, they want us to spend money elsewhere to replace something that’s gonna cost us an arm and a leg for no reason! 🤦🏻♀️
Thaaaaaaaaaank You!!!!! Successfully completed the change. What a great feeling I have a 2020, for those who share the same model, there's a rubber "cap", if you will, you pull that out, not twist like I was attempting 😅😅
I believe there are two design for this. On my 2018 Grand Cherokee the cap is a rubber cap the pulls out. On mine the rubber was so deteriorated that the flange ripped right off. I was able to pull it out.
If all you did was replace the light bulb. No adjustment is needed. If you feel that your Headlights need to be adjusted. Adjust it on the Low Beam only.
OMG thank you. I saw those studs in the air box and looked too tight to pull off them. then cussing how to remove them. LOL I'm going to use a squirt of WD-40 then stretch the rubber.
I just pulled it up and the rubber grommets stayed on the stu😅ds and pulled out of the housing. When I reinstalled it, the ❤grommets easily came off the studs and I inserted the back into the housing holes and then pushed the housing with the grommets back over the studs.
Removing this headlight alone, would make me not buy a jeep. It just shows their stupidity and how they design a car. I do all my car work and I’ve never had to spend so much time getting a lightbulb in and out. Totally ridiculous. Jeep stinks
Oh my, I am sorry to hear that. I do not have a Jeep nearby to see which light that you may have issues with. I was basically helping out a friend on this Jeep. Just try to take your time and rev what you have done.
