I say the same thing. I swear they don’t want us doing things ourselves, but instead, they want us to spend money elsewhere to replace something that’s gonna cost us an arm and a leg for no reason! 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s $200 to do at Jeep dealer. That’s why. Imagine on a road trip and you need to do this in a parking lot. Horrific engineering.

They can be a pain sometimes

I believe there are two design for this. On my 2018 Grand Cherokee the cap is a rubber cap the pulls out. On mine the rubber was so deteriorated that the flange ripped right off. I was able to pull it out.

If all you did was replace the light bulb. No adjustment is needed. If you feel that your Headlights need to be adjusted. Adjust it on the Low Beam only.

I just pulled it up and the rubber grommets stayed on the stu😅ds and pulled out of the housing. When I reinstalled it, the ❤grommets easily came off the studs and I inserted the back into the housing holes and then pushed the housing with the grommets back over the studs.

Silly me, I tried to unscrew the studs. Lol.

Oh my, I am sorry to hear that. I do not have a Jeep nearby to see which light that you may have issues with. I was basically helping out a friend on this Jeep. Just try to take your time and rev what you have done.
