Hi Pedro, this video help me out so much with my mom's Jeep. A mechanic went and couldn't help her. Took your advice and bought a new relay and problem was solved. Thanks a lot again for your advice
Hey Pedro great video and some good info. I will have to check out my 01 WJ. Chris blew his engine in Moab last month, its getting rebuilt this week he probably won't have it for the Opener to go through the pit, but you are right there is a new Mud Bog pit! 100' long 20' wide, and 3 " deep its going to be a blast. Also fireworks at sunset. See you there.
Had to get some other things done to the ZJ, but finally did this today. Got the relay from Autozone, put it in, started right up and stayed running. #Salute
Got a 98 Cherokee Laredo and it’s been having the issue you explained, so gonna try it out and see what it does, thank you for the video and that’s a good lookin Jeep bud🤘🏻
@@kenskens69 thank you very much! Besides this little funky issue, my jeep is solid, minimal rust for being in Maine for a decade, no knocks, ticks, not a single light comes up on that dash, so this video has been a big help in the midst of multiple forums etc, thank you very much and safe driving 😎

Thank you for your advice. I replaced both relays on my jeep. It was doing the same thing to me. Well I just left the car running and it died all over again.

i lost dash gauges this morning and got no fuel pump sound. my obd2 wont read the computer. i took apart my computer to find 3 swelling capisitors and burnt looking chipboard around them. i have the same jeep as you with the 5.2l engine. 3 plug computer under the ac lines there. the jeep dies barly going over a water puddle 2 days before this happened. i didnt find any shorts in my harnesses. but i did notist the computer was clean as if waters getting on it on the outside rite exactlly were the capisators are inisde the computer being cooled and heated over and over shocking the area i think with tempatures that it literatly made the thing short from stressing its board cooling wet then heating over the years.

Thanks for the video I’ll try that I put a new computer in and fuel pump but my 1996 grand Cherokee keeps cutting off I’ll try this and see what happens
nop , at the and the problem was the ECM plug ,to check that get some one to try to star the cherokee and you move the ECM plug Specially the one one the right side if you are in front of the jeep
I also found that in that fuse/relay box, the contacts for the relays corrode and break off, I’m going to replace some of the contacts tomorrow, hopefully. I found it by touching all of the relays, and they were loose in the sockets!
I just took off my throttle body n cleaned it and then upon trying to relearn TB, now jeep won't start just makes a click but all dash lights flicker is that my anti theft.. .🤬. Anybody? 🙏
