After months of annoyance and ready to spend $200 on all new TPS for my 2011 Jeep Liberty, today I was finally able to turn my annoying TPMS dash light off by following your video and using both the iCar Pro OBD and J-scan application. It's been a while since this video was posted so the in app price to register your VIN is now $23. Well worth it though in my opinion. Not only did it turn off my TPMS light but it has TONS of vehicle data and controls that I never had access to before. Thank you for making this video!
thank you, i kind regardles your help. this ligth was driving me crazy. I done just like you discribe in you video, and now my tpms system is disable. i appreciate you great help. i hope you wil be better in you blessed life always.
Once you have turned off the TPM SYSTEM ON YOUR 2011 JEEPLIBERTY. Do You have to leave the module plugged into your OBD Port ? And if “YES” Say I have to unplug it in order to run my OBDE SCANNER. Does that alter/erase the TPM module you purchased & Registered? Thank You 🙏
No, you don't have to leave it plugged in and once you purchase the license it saves it so you'll only have to purchase more than 1 license if you want to use the adaptations on a different vehicle/VIN
Hi. Do you know this works on a Chrysler 300c 2005? The non facelift 300c has a software bug - I dont use TPMS sensors but when a 300c friend is in my near for a short time I can see his tire pressure in my dashboard. After a few miles it goes away. But when an another 300c is for a longer time in my near my car will dont forget his sensors and I have that yellow light and error warnings with sound forever. Then I must go to the dealer and they flash my TPMS module with the same firmware version and the car checks that I dont have TPMS sensors. Then I must hope dont stand to long in the near of an another 300c. So it was nice when I can disable the system. The facelift 300c from 2008 dont have this software problem and check when no TPMS sensors in use and shut off the error light and messages after a few miles.
Dumb guy question: why are turning that feature off? Just for going off road or are you have a sensor issue? The tool/app looks pretty cool. Could you maybe post a review on that? I was curious about the dashboard/live data stuff.
I have had multiple sensor issues and I don’t like the dummy light. I think a review about the app is a great idea since it’s different for each vehicle. I will add that to the list. I am working on video for after market TPMS sensor kit that reads each tire pressure. Hope to have it done next weekend.
I get it and and am all for fixing things the right way. I was going through the process of replacing them as they went bad, but I continued to have failures and got sick of spending money on this. Others have mentioned spending hundreds of dollars and they aren't wrong. If one day you get fed up on spending the money too, you know where you can find a solution to the annoying light.
