are you re gearing for the new tires?

No. I'm only planning on going with 31 or 32" tires, so re-gearing won't be necessary. This Jeep won't ever see any "real off-roading" while I own it, so big lifts, big tires, and re-gearing aren't needed for me.

Nope, it's been working just fine so far! I really thing a good part of the reason they crack is because of excess movement of the motor from worn out motor mounts.

Did you had a CEL on?

Nope, just sounded like a diesel at idle, but not bad enough to trigger any O2 sensor codes or anything.

You are correct. If you watched the first few minutes of the video, I explained that there are numerous other step by step videos out there if you need someone to show you every nut and bolt to remove. This was just a general overview of the process and the parts I used.
