I am in the middle of a restore of my 98 TJ. I lined the whole tub with stick on sound deadened, a lot of work but worth it. You did a great job on the carpet, a lot of work. Now I'm onto the paint job, another big job.
I love it when someone that knows what they are doing still has to use RU-vid and Google occasionally. Thanks for the content, I love Jeeps and restorations. Keep up the good work!
Man I just watched your video of the restoration on your TJ awesome job just goes to us older guys don't need any big fancy shop and we get stuff done when we get stuff done and are proud of the work we have done thanks for sharing this
Job well done!! The Jeep is looking great!! Enjoyed watching your video. I'm also making improvements to my Jeep (04 TJ) as well. Just up-graded the battery cables from stock to 1/0 wielding cables. Made my own cable ends out of 3/8 copper tubing. Have a dual battery set up. Again, good looking Jeep.
Enjoyed this. I just started what u have done. Heater core has been leaking, so I removed the carpet. Well, pass side foot pan wasnt as bad as yours. I'll be doing the same process you did. I'm also going to use soundproofing/heat Matt AND then new carpet. Your jeep turned out great!!
Greetings from WA State. Nice color. I have a 2000 purchased used in Hawaii on mobilization in 2002. Might consider some cavity wax depending on where you live. Have fun
I would much rather restore any Jeep from '41 - '06 than buy a heep from '07 - present. This is an amazing restoration, great work! O|||||||O 🇺🇸 Only in a 2 Dr 🇨🇦 '41 - '06
Great job! Can you tell me what Dupli Color Vinyl & Fabric paint color # you used as there are various shades of gray? Thanks and the Jeep looks awesome!,

Completely unnecessary...all you needed to have done was to put some heat on those bolts first to soften the patch loc in the threads. Simple hand ratchet would have removed them.
