The bumper does include an adjustable tire carrier that pivots on a tapered bearing. The tapered bearing will withstand elements, allowing you to open and close your tire carrier with ease. The adjustable tire carrier allows you to mount larger tires, increasing visibility in the rear window. The bumper does have a high quality latch, which will not rattle on and off-road. This thing is great if you want a bumper thats a PITA to open and constantly rattles. Not to mention, Extreme Terrain screwed up my order of this bumper twice then it took 3 months just to get a refund.
