The JL is probably the best vehicle on the road. It can do what most cars or trucks can't and the latest models are just as quiet and comfortable as SUV's. I may be extremely biased. I love my JL, my fourth Rubicon.
I am Korean who drives Rolls Royce Phantom in korea, but I miss the old days when I used to drive JK Jeep Wrangler unlimited in Kent, Ohio back in 2012. Since I am living in Korea and miss my life in Ohio, I have decided to buy a next generation wrangler to support the economy of state of buckeye. Thank you for the video and cannot wait for the next gen Wrangler!!!!!
I live in Toledo, a few miles from Jeep.. my Father in law retired from there, and also know another guy who worked at the old factory 🏭 painting Jeeps.. I love Jeep’s! We have a 2009 grand Cherokee and its still in great shape ( timeless ) Thanks to all my neighbors and family here in Toledo for all your hard work.
Jeep is a brand of American automobiles that is a division of FCA US LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Italian-American corporation Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
@@tax905972 Okay. I'll bite and stay true to Chrysler products. Why are there assembly plants in Ontario, Canada? The ones that build Dodge Minivans, Chrysler Town & Country. Dodge Chargers, Dodge Challengers and Chrysler 300s? Which still FYI does not change the fact that they are designated as American because they are built in North America.
Cool. I’m SO impressed by all of the robotics!! The fact that God gives people the brains to design such machines, then gives people the brains to program them. It just blows me away!
I think midrangetorque is saying that we don't get the chance to see how Jeeps are built. This is an amazing eye-opener as to why things cost so much? I am partial to the robotics and find them amazing. It's like they are human at times.
Would love to tour this place! I have now owned 5, driven 1 other, and racked up about 500,000 miles since 1988. Two of them I drove over 175,000 miles before trading them. All her manual transmissions... 4, 5 and 6 speeds.
Great Workers. I watch all kinds of car factory even the car & Truck manufacturers I don't like. It's amazing how cars & trucks are put together. But Jeeps are awesome #1 baby. Great Union Workers 👍
alexukfg Yeah...they conveniently left out the part where the robots alarm out every 8-10 minutes. The human then clears the faults or repairs it. Know this first hand.
If you can't wait. Purchase a Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited and convert it to a pickup truck. Your waiting time will be significantly reduced, including the wait to have your JL Unlimited Conversion Project completed.
Tell that third robot on the left to lay off the red Loctite on the body bolts please....some of us actually need to remove those without breaking them off.
It's simply amazing how those "robots" assemble cars. I'm glad there are a lot of smart people out there inventing them. It makes the job safer for humans, and sadly someday it might all be done by machines putting humans out of work. Thanks for the video.
thats just retrograde. If human society grew up, they could be so much more advanced by now.. Total freedom, good health for everyone. and the technology would be that of the science fiction. But noooo humans have to be lazy, envious, wicked, violent, thieves and scammers.
My first car / 4x4 was a Jeep CJ7 some 28 years ago after which I became a hardcore landcruiser fan and have not owned anything except cruisers since then. I swore never to own a Jeep again but after seeing the new 2019 wrangler and after watching this video I have changed my mind. It is really nice.
@@gutteherr Nice! I custom ordered my White 2018 Willys Wheeler 2 Door With the 5-Speed Auto right when the ordering process was made available. For optional Equipment, I ordered: - Power Convenience Group - Alpine 9 Speaker Sound System - Freedom Top Hard top Apart from the obvious Power group and Hard top, the Alpine Sound System was the best upgrade I could have ordered. The chassis subwoofer is incredible. EDIT: Of Course, I love my Jeep as-well and although sometimes, I would have liked having a Manual. The Auto is super nice for those long trips.
@@xphyle ..the issue has been fixed , they stopped shipping Jeeps for 1 month while fixing it , they even stopped production for a couple of days which is rare . Recall was issued and outside vendor corrected issue . It didnt effect every Jeep built in 2018 and 2019, I believe it was less than 20000 .
I see what you mean regarding the lack of 2 door Jeep sales but technically you can buy two door JLs currently in Canadian dealerships. The US doesn't have them yet?
There are 2 door JL's and have been for at-least the past 4 months. They are not popular and most Dealers don't bother ordering them. You can purchase 2 Door JL's in both the United States and Canada and they have been available for custom order for at-least the past 6 months....
@@richardburns9772 Its not so much a death wobble as it is an issue with complete loss of steering because of faulty welding of the trackbar to the frame. FCA did recall around 18,000 JL's to address this issue which is pretty ridiculous but its quite a stretch to say that every model will have this problem. It's a Chrysler product which will have poor fit and finish and can have poor build quality. I still love the Wrangler, despite all of that. ;)
Based on EURO standards which deduct for needless electronic nannies the Jeep does not have and also take into consideration pedestrian impacts. Structurally, it is very safe considering the top and doors are NOT part of the safety system at all. The cabin does not fail and cause more harm. NHTSA conducts safety ratings in the US, not Europe. But hey, keep buying into internet BS.
LOL @ Kurt. The crash test video is available on youtube. Dummies would have sustained catastrophic injuries because of the poorly designed crumple zones, which barely collapse as they should. Meaning the passengers would endure massive deceleration forces. So no, it's not just about the electronic nannies, although they do factor into the final score.
@@boohoomoron7629 Well, that is a terrible beginning because its spelt "Douchebags" and that doesn't answer any questions about the issues the CAR has but rather your interpretation as to who the types of people are that own them. Furthermore, there are a lot of Douchebags in the world and some of them are very rich and powerful so chances are, they own a lot of very nice toys. Still wouldn't be any justification to not want to like or use the product because of that. What about breathing the same air as these so called Douchebags? This type of silly thinking makes absolutely no sense.
