Most youtube videos never showcase how you get the best out of stock suspension and build low CG rigs. I have a 2024 4xe Rubicon. This video is a good indication that a mopar 2" lift (which is more of a 1.5" on a 4xe) should be good enough to run light 37 c-rated KO2s on a 5.4 backspace wheel to keep the scrub radius near to stock spec. Thank you for not being just another youtuber pushing a popular lift kit and a $5000 upgrade bill to wheel a wrangler rubicon ❤

Great info. Will reach out for some advice when I get mine at end of year

It was your content that gave me the confidence to go with the Icon Alloys Rebound Pro 17x8.5 -6mm wheels, and Nitto 38X12.50R17 with only a 2" Dynatrac lift kit, on my JLU Rubicon. After some hard wheeling bottoming out my rear axle on the Dynatrac rear bump stops, the only thing I had to do was add an additional 3/16" plate to the rear bump stops and problem solved. Thank you for your content. It has really helped me make some good decisions.

Great informative video. Especially for me as I’m planning to keep the “24 392 stock. But just put on “37 tires. 2inch rear bump stop for me 🫡

Pretty sweet Jeep. My V8 land Cruiser gas milage sucks too, I think that's just par for the course with V8's.

Awesome video very informative. Question, will a 1 inch spacer work with the 2021 factory wheels?
@Ali_Mansour_Editor
@Ali_Mansour_Editor 5 месяцев назад
I don’t know if you can actually get a 1 inch spacer for the JL. For some reason I thought 1.5 was the smallest you could go. Either way, yes, you can run a spacer with a factory wheel. It’s a little on the narrow side for a 12.50, but plenty of people do it.

@@Ali_Mansour_EditorThanks for getting back with me, I found 1" spacers for JL on eBay. I also might go with nitto trail grappler 37x11. 5x 17

Umm how did I not know you had your own RU-vid channel???

Probably because I haven’t really done much with it. I’m trying to get more content on it. That’s my resolution for 2024!

@@Ali_Mansour_Editor well, I think your videos are the best ones on the driving line channel so you might as well put the effort into your own channel. It would probably grow bigger than theirs anyway.

@@DUNEATV That's kind of you to say. I'm excited to see what I can do with the channel. I will still be doing videos for Driving Line as well. It's wild how big that channel has become. When I started uploading videos for them it only had 29 subscribers!

You mention better fuel economy with the 37x12.50 grappler tires, how much better though?
@Ali_Mansour_Editor
@Ali_Mansour_Editor 6 месяцев назад
A touch under 2mpg better with the Recon Grapplers.

@@Ali_Mansour_Editor that’s quite a bit! I’ll probably try them as soon as I get my 392! Thank you

With the XR set up would 13.5 wide 37’s work or only 12.5?
@Ali_Mansour_Editor
@Ali_Mansour_Editor 5 месяцев назад
It's depends on the wheel's backspacing and if the tire is true-to-size. I think you could probably make it work, but it may rub on the inside plastic of the fender. Probably not enough to pull the fender off the Jeep on the trail, but enough where you would hear it.

What length are the fox DSC you have on the green 392?
@Ali_Mansour_Editor
@Ali_Mansour_Editor 7 месяцев назад
They are the 2-3 inch lift height ones. Part #'s 883-26-050 and 883-26-054. Note, the front ones allow the driveshaft to hit the crossmember. So, you'll need to unbolt it (which is what I did) or get an aftermarket front driveshaft. If you don't, it will rip the boot on the shaft.

Does it matter if it's a 392 or a v6 extreme recon.
@Ali_Mansour_Editor
@Ali_Mansour_Editor 7 месяцев назад
It does make a difference. The 392 has a different bump stop tower up front which is longer and has a 2-inch lift. The V6 equipped JL with the XR package only has a 1.5 lift and the standard length bump tower up front.
