Hands down, he CAN sing rock n roll, Jeff. He IS rock n roll. It wasn't hard for me to accept at all because he always had the style and dress of a rock n roll star! What I love about Johnny is that he can pull it off in BOTH worlds -- he knows how to look like a Rockstar AND he knows how to look like a movie star. He has a style all his own, and he looks gorgeous doing it! When I heard his voice, I instantly became a fan of his music. Instantly. That is rare, because everyone doesn't have "it" -- but Johnny does. This album seems like fire, I can't wait to get it; but for now, it will be on my Playlist! And WHAT is there to say about the way JB plays? Like I said, "Fire!" We should have known, if Jeff recommended him, that should've been all it took! I'm with u now Jeff, I supported Johnny throughout the trial, now I'm a fan of his music for life.

Beck is a well-established Master since the 60s I dont know any great musician guitarists who aren't in awe of him and admire and many influenced by him Hes also known for his fusion styles blues jazz Hes amazing Johnny must be dazed and in heaven hes gigging with Beck and there going to be recording BTW this song was written by Lou Reed John must of picked it as he's had ties from was back with the downtown NYC music scene ..I've some mutual friends . Of both really Beck would never pick this song to do..but he's become gracious in his older years except to 1 guy who won't sell him this hard to find vintage guitar model Just say the guys name and over 2 decades later Beck scowls haha I can't say who Really happy for John to be hooked up with Beck Awesome!

In addition, the professor said IF there were any type of proceeds sent to him, he was going to donate it to organizations that further his life-long commitment to preserving African American culture and traditions. Instead, they filed a lawsuit against the person who exposed their apparent misappropriation of this African American work in the song ‘Sad Motherfuckin’ Parade.’” According to Depp and Beck’s suit, Jackson sent the pair letters back in August alleging that that “nearly every single word” in “Sad Motherfuckin’ Parade” is “copied from ‘Hobo Ben’ including the title.” There were also suggestions that the “inflection, tonality, and rhythm” in “Sad Mothefuckin’ Parade” mirrored the recording Jackson made of Slim Wilson performing the toast in the 1960s. Jackson’s letter reportedly even alleged that Depp and Beck didn’t just copy the lyrics to “Hobo Ben,” but may have sampled that recording “to construct portions of the vocal track” on “Sad Motherfuckin’ Parade.” Depp and Beck’s lawsuit goes on to assert that while “there may be some elements” of “Sad Motherfuckin’ Parade” that “mirror the words” of “Hobo Ben,” “Sad Motherfuckin’ Parade” is described as “an original work of authorship and creativity.” Reps for Depp and Beck did not return Rolling Stone’s request for clarification if this statement meant the pair claim they wrote the lyrics to “Sad Motherfuckin’ Parade,” and that any of the various similarities between the song and “Hobo Ben” are just a coincidence. Meanwhile, in their statement, the Jacksons noted, “It is important to understand that Depp and Beck have not denied that the lyrics and nuance of the vocals performed on ‘Sad Motherfuckin’ Parade’ appear to have been duplicated by Depp and Beck, which they have appropriated and credited to themselves. When this story first broke, Deep and Beck issued a statement to Rolling Stone that “if appropriate, additional credits will be added to all forms of the album.” Why have they walked away from this promise?” Furthermore, Depp and Beck’s lawsuit described Jackson’s allegations as “part of an old-fashioned shakedown.” But according to Jackson’s statement, he never made “any formal financial demands of Depp and Beck.” Instead, “He has repeatedly specified that any settlement monies would be donated directly to organizations that further his life-long commitment to preserving African American culture and traditions. Depp and Beck’s claim that this is a ‘cashgrab’ is a publicity stunt and worse, another lie.” Jackson put it a bit more bluntly in his initial interview with Rolling Stone, saying, “I don’t know if this record is selling. I’ve seen some reviews that I’d be very embarrassed to have gotten had they been my album. But if it is selling, Johnny Depp is making a lot of money on it. Should it go to him, or should it go to some place that helps the people who produced this culture?”

She you know who cant evensay her name i have been abused myself like many others and so darn proud of a guy to speak out and having been there you feel the emotions i had panic atacks and she just sat there ice queen.
