Saw him at the Hollywood Bowl years back, and probably the best rock concert I've ever seen. I always admired Jeff for giving Tal such a shot. She looks like she is 12 in this video. I think she was actually 21.
Thank you for posting this video. We have lost so many good musicians in the last few years - but this guy was really special, I can't quite believe he is gone.
Jeff's simply irreplaceable, one of the greatest guitarists to ever walk the planet but the humility to be star struck him self. As happy accompanying young talented musicians as playing with legends like Vinnie. Truly oblivious to his own stupendous talent.
Actually it’s a quartet. You have ignored Jason Rebello, an outstanding keyboard player. That’s why Jeff had him in his band for six years. Before that he was in Sting’s band, also for six years. He now teaches piano at London’s Guildhall School of Music.
Everything is so melodic, every note with shades and tone, a different level to any guitarist in that field. You can keep, your shredders, just a fast noise
Beautiful. Most of the tribute videos show Jeff ripping it up in guitar shoot outs with other guitar greats. This was a glimpse into the real Jeff Beck. Imogen Heap…perfect voice and singing to combine.
Here, any comment is unnecessary. Here you should sit comfortably in an armchair and listen to this enchanted music. And this beautiful music will itself drive us to the armchair and will not allow us to write any unnecessary comments. Greetings to all people who love such music!👍💖😘🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹😉
Crazy enough this performance happened in 2007, so this video was WAY before he died. Imogen Heap is a beautiful woman, I think she looks exactly the same today, 16 years later. The video looks like it could have been a current concert, she is identical to her 2007 self. RIP to a great guitarist, this performance with Imogen is one of my favorite performances of any duo.
BJesus! Jeff's solo here is why he's the Guv'nor. Not. to. mention. his. rythym playing! As an aside, i wonder if the big man standing and clapping at the end of song is still with us? ty
