Jeff is unbelievable. He’s not in this planet anymore, but his music remains. What a band! Rhonda Smith, bass (Prince), Jason Rabelo, keys, and Narada Michael Walden, drums (Mahavishnu Orchestra).
Rock In Peace - Jeff, you were one of the best. I saw back with Rod Stewart in the Fillmore days and many times since including this show. Your quest for excellence and passion for forging new sounds has always been an inspiration to me.
You don't know how blessed you were to have seen Jeff Beck , I went to every concert on earth back in the day , but I never made it to one of his.......
Jeff Beck is more than just one of the world's best guitar player but he also is a great hot rod builder and mechanic. His wife is an aweome artist with painting people's faces.
I keep coming back cause I love this song...I love Jeff Beck - the soul! - but I also love what the keyboardist does here, rearranging the chords and beautiful touch.
I'm a big Rod Stewart fan and at the age of 54 I'm from the MTV generation so People Get Ready was my introduction to Jeff Beck and that glorious video with him pulling in to meet Rod on the train. I later did some beautiful research to include Rods band stuff with Jeff Beck Group and the Faces. I also got quite a taste for Ron Wood as a guitarist, composer and bassist outside of the Stonesa. I never quite made the time to listen to Jeff Beck as a solo artist. My loss entirely and is being amended daily. I think it's a big undertaking. I might go slowly to really listen with my whole heart. The soloes here by all the band are exquisite. He covers that vocal perfectly. His performance is an ideal blend of concert energy and studio precision. He was a very very clean player. Also let's note that Jeff died on Rod Stewart's birthday. 😥
This was very different from the times I've heard Jeff play it live myself (or on record). Brilliant and maybe my fave people get ready version of his. Brilliant!
I don’t know her history, but didn’t she play for Michael Jackson? Anyway, I had the privilege of seeing her with Beck from 15 feet away in 2019. She is amazing.
Outstanding.. Narada & Rhonda are swingin' soooo hard...!!! Those two definitely bring the grease factor to the table for sure..!! And Beck is stellar as usual..
Gentlemen and Gentlewomen. Enjoy the music. I suppose there's always someone somewhere that could do something better that would enhance your pleasure. But enjoy the music......!!!
well these women are the best in the world Jeff s no slouch he is right up there in Music and he has great taste in woman and Music ....she is awesome I am totally Humbled
I try to try to appreciate Rhonda but I think she is the most overrated bass guitar player I have ever heard. I'm sure she got in with Prince because she is a puppet and will do exactly what she is told. FYI my favorite bassist that played with Jeff Beck is Carlos from back in the day. Yes she is better than me, not by much and I am average-at-best

AS Crazy as it sounds... Id Give anything but my Girlfriend, to have Jeffs Talent For a day! You just cant measure the amount of Talent hes got, Even Other legends Site him as their choice for Greatest guitarist!
have fun...but remember that Jeff Beck chose Rhonda as his full time bassist. That means a hell of a lot. What is about her playing don't you like? People like Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B King, Buddy Guy, etc are/were going to have some of the best players in the world backing them up. Simple as that
Not getting picture (or decent sound) where I am now, but looked like it from the thumbnail. I've seen Jeff with him, Vinnie Colaiuta and Anika Nilles. All three times were an absolute blast. Besides the talent for, playing there's the talent for finding great players for his band, and the talent for finding amazing songs for his amazing reinterpretations.
